The best thing about this college is its students & the placements.

Placements: GNITS has a good reputation when it comes to placements (only for CSE & IT), but for the 2019 batch the number of students placed was lower compared to the previous years since the college lost its Autonomous recognition. Around 60-65% students got placed this time. The lowest package was around 3.5 LPA & the highest was 11 LPA (JP Morgan). Most students got placed in Accenture. And many more made it to companies like L&T, Bank of America & Infosys (Bulk recruiters). The big companies that recru...

Review of G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science.

Placements: Placements in our college are okay. Usually, the college has amazing placements, but as the students had many backlogs, they weren't that great this year. Internships are good, and you can also apply on your own. Apple company provides internships to some of the students in our college. It creates amazing opportunities.

Good college to learn new things and good for placements

Placements: It has excellent placements. I got placed in Accenture and Infosys. Almost every student is placed before the completion of BTech. The average salary is 3.5 lakhs. The company which offered maximum salary is DBA. The package was 10 lakhs and it recruited 3 members of CSE and IT.

I am satisfied with its environment.

Placements: Around 6 CGPA is required for placements, but some companies filter according to their process like 7, 7.5, 8, etc. Students get placements chance in core companies, but they do not get a chance in software companies.

This college is not great for students.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good but satisfactory. Only some students are placed in MNCs, but do not have a satisfying package. The internships are very rare, and only the department toppers get them. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.

Review of G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science.

Placements: Despite being a college best known for the placement opportunities, there has been a decline in the number of students placed in the best companies that recruit on-campus. The salary packages offered were also declined. Several companies such as Deloitte, SalesForce, NCR, JPMC have recruited about 5-6 students each on an average from the campus. L&T has recruited about 60 students. Accenture and Infosys which were once bulk recruiters were expected to offer only a few students an offer letter. .
