Placements in the year 2020 are excellent.

Placements: I am a student of 2016 to 2020 batch from computer science engineering department. Out of 890 students, 579 were placed in B.Tech stream, and still, placements are in progress. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are NCR Corporation, ValueLabs, Commvault, Mu Sigma, Infosys and TCS. Top roles offered to the students are SD and decision scie...

Review of Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering.

Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies for our course. The top roles offered in our course are mechanical assistant and faculty members in any college, and the salary package offered in our course varies from 6 LPA-3 LPA. Almost 98% of the students got internships in BHEL, Steel Plant, Port, etc. Our college doesn't encourage students by recommending...

I am satisfied with the faculty but dissatisfied with infrastructure, placements and facilities.

Placements: More than 50% of students got placed, and it depends on the percentage of marks they secured in the B.Tech. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA by Amazon. The average salary package offered by ValueLabs is 8.35 LPA. The lowest salary package offered by Infosys is 3.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant visit our campus for placements.

If you're up to core go for better options as this would disappoint you at the end.

Placements: Gayatri provide an IT sector for every qualified student (CGPA approximately 6.5 will do). Coming to core placements there are very few companies takes only one or two when you are extremely talented. Pulling off a core job totally depends on ones ability. The management provides it's training and support in placing one in an IT job, which is something they have been doing from years.

I am not fully satisfied with the placements.

Placements: Placements in college are very good, and most of our seniors got a couple of jobs. The placements are still going on. Almost 60% of the students got placed in TCS and Wipro, and only 10 members got placed in Microsoft. The highest salary package offered is 12 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 3.30 lacs per annum.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, and there are no placements for our department.

Placements: There are no placements provided in the college for the civil branch. Only TCS comes to recruit, but very few students get selected. There are placements provided in core companies. Our head of the department doesn't bother about the placements, he just takes his salary and doesn't even know how to teach. Don't believe in the placements numbers shown by the college as those numbers belong to the placements of the CSE and ECE departments.

GVP is a famous college with some major issues.

Placements: The college provides a good amount of placement opportunities, but the average package offered is low. Most of the students get only offer letters, but they don't get any call letters. Many training sessions are conducted for the students to prepare for placements. Companies like TCS, Zoho, etc., visit the college for placements.

It is an average college for fun and good for education.

Placements: Placements in our college are average, but they are better when compared to other colleges. There are good campus placements for CSE and ECE branches while remaining all branches got very low jobs in software companies and did not get good core jobs in the campus placements.

The college is great for those who get scholarships, but it is not worth the money we spend.

Placements: I think the main recruiter is TCS and that's it. We don't get major companies like Amazon for placements. The salary packages offered are also less, and I think it's not enough for the money we are paying. The companies should recruit more students. Many companies visit the campus to conduct placements, but out of 2,000 or 1,500 students, only 25% of them are getting jobs.

Placements are average. College is purely study based. No extra activities and faculty is not good.

Placements: Mainly software companies like Wipro Infosys visit the college for the placements. Core companies are minimum. The lowest package is about 3 to 4 LPA, and the highest package is about 10 to 14 LPA. But it is only for few students, maybe ten members maximum. ECE department has a high number of placements, but all placements belong to the software side. Core side placements are minimum, and around 500+ students are placed. The lowest CTC is 2.5 lakh per annum. Ramki industry-Visakhapatnam, Cfl-Visakhapatnam, deccan chemicals-tuni are came for recruitment in our college. No internship available after B.Tech from our college.

Dissatisfied with the teaching, infrastructure, and cultural events on the campus.

Placements: The placements in my college are good for CSE and ECE branches as they are getting good placements in TCS, Wipro, and also other software companies, but in my branch (mechanical), the placements are restricted to software jobs by TCS and Wipro. There are a few opportunities from Hyundai to the students. In the case of core jobs, we have to go for further studies. Also, the jobs given to our seniors are taken back sometimes, when the company is in some loss. The average salary package that offere...

It's very good college to have a peace of study.

Placements: Placements are less for our batch when compared to our seniors. The highest salary offered was 12 LPA. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Verizon, Hyundai, Wipro come for placements. Mostly the roles offered are as assistant system engineers. Every year, about 60 -70% of students get placed. For CSE, ECE, IT students, placements are good.

Gayatri Vidya Parishad is good college for studies but not for enjoyment.

Placements: Decent number of placements every year. Every year around 600 students are being placed in top companies like amazon, TCS, wipro etc. , the highest salary offered by amazon around 16lakhs per year. Average salary was between 3 to 4 Lacs. Yes there is placement cell which will train students for placements from 6 th semester onwards.

GVPCOE, the college that need to upgrade.

Placements: Regarding the placements, yes there is a placement cell in the college and it is quite efficient. The Companies that visit college are TCS, Wipro etc. But the Package is a bit on the lower side. The Average package being around 3.5lakhs per annum. The highest go up to 12 or 13 Lacs paid by MNCs like Microsoft or Amazon. They come under the off-campus drives. The conclusion would be 'placements are pretty okay not that great'. .

The teaching levels in my branch are is not at all up to the mark and partiality is also shown.

Placements: Very fewer placements will be taken in our branch, and mostly 1-2 companies will come to hire you with the highest package, 3-5 companies come for the mid-range package. The college offers no interns. There is a placement cell, but they act on their perspective way. I heard that they would place their students on recommendations also.
