For example, to prepare for the English section, candidates would have to focus more on improving both reading skills and grammar. Therefore, they have to read books, blogs, and practice questions on a regular basis. To score well in all three sections, candidates should refer to the tips below:
- Read newspaper, books and blogs for at least two hours a day
- Write down everything on a notepad, make diagrams, and points to learn everything quickly.
- Keep track of latest happenings around the world with news channels or news apps
- Enhance vocabulary to understand the correct meaning of questions/ sentences
- Practise mock papers and question papers based on the subjects on a daily basis
Preparation analysis - It would be wise to check your preparation level before appearing for the examination. List out your strong and weak topics from the syllabus of each subject. Work on improving the weak areas and, practice strong topics regularly as well. Put efforts equally no matter what the marking scheme is for GLAT 2025. Scoring well in each section will only improve the overall score.
Thorough revision - In the last 7-8 days, candidates should focus on revision than learning new/ untouched topics from the syllabus. It is important to understand the concepts and significance of any topic to score well. To retain the information for a longer duration, practice meditation as you need a calm mind not anxiety to attempt exam successfully. Learn tricks and key topics around any topic by making pointers on a notepad. No matter what, do not mug up, as it will only waste time and not help you remember the concepts for a longer duration.
