Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

One or two small scale companies used to come, but they declined the offers after the students completed their degree, hence the companies come for name sake only.

The best review of the college.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in the course is 80%. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Google, Wipro, etc. The highest package is 11 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. More than 70% get internships through our college, and the companies are Google, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, Tata, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities include an emergency room, drinking water, washrooms for girls and boys, a library, etc. The college also has Wi-Fi, labs for each subject, computer labs, and clean classrooms. The food available in the mess is good and tasty. Medical, sports, and gaming facilities are excellent. The hostel facilities are good and cooperative.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and educated in their particular fields. Every teacher has work experience of more than 5 years. The quality of teaching of every teacher is excellent. As we move to the next year, the semester gets more difficult, but if we study properly, it becomes interesting and helpful.
Other: Think about the future in software; this is the best course to pursue a career in this field. Making new software and applications helps to educate people and make life easier. The crowd of our college is interactive and helpful. We all enjoy every event that occurs in the college.

Faculty is great, but the infrastructure can be improved. Placement should be improved.
Placements: The placement of this college is not that good. Very few companies visit the college. Very few students got placed in the college. I think the highest package, what I know, was 3.5 lacs per annum. No internship opportunities are provided by the college.
Infrastructure: Many facilities such as the library, computer labs, and projectors in the classroom are provided by the college. There is no canteen in the college. The hostel is only available for girls and not for boys. The infrastructure of the college is okay but needs to be improved.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful and educated in the curriculum. They are knowledgeable and have industry practice too. The teaching quality is great for some faculty, and some are generous. The course is both relevant and irrelevant. The course can make students industry-ready, but students also have to adopt many things other than college which can make them industry-perfect. The semester exams are not that difficult, but it honestly depends on the subject. According to me, almost 80 to 90 percent of students pass the exams.
Other: I liked coding from a young age, so I chose this course. The integration of current things such as AI could make it better.

Average college This college is only for achieving degree .
Placements: Only few students are placed in my college and 7 lacs is the highest package offered. No top company has come till now. Maximum 5 to 7 students got internship in our college. Most of the students got placement by off campus and other students pass out without job.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members and placements are not good.
Placements: Placements are very bad. No big companies visit here and very low package. They assured 100% placements but there are no such things.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad. There is no proper ground owned by this college itself. It is a public ground even college does not have any canteen and other facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are average and some of them are rude as well. Some teachers are very rude and bad at teaching. Even some teachers do not know what they are teaching. But they have attitude like they know all the things. Some of them are very good and students understand them and behave nicely.
Other: Do not take admission at this college. Even there is no function at college. Management is very bad, and students give their own money to organise an event. Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members, not good placements, really bad infrastructure, and facilities, especially this college does not have its ground.

Life at Genba Sopanrao Moze College Balewadi.
Placements: Some companies came for placements; the average package offered was 3.5 Lacs. Around 45% of students were placed. Companies started coming for placements around the seventh semester of the course. They were offering internships and would be given a full-time job if found satisfactory.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good with adequate spacing for lots of students. The practical labs are also equipped with good computers and great Wi-Fi. All the software is installed for the ease of students. The college library is also great and has many reference books.
Faculty: The teaching was great, and some faculty also provided handwritten notes. The course has many modules which are actually useful. There are eight semesters in this course, and it consists of a mid-sem and an end-sem exam. The weightage is 30 marks for the mid-sem and 70 marks for the end-sem.
