GITA College BBSR: where learning meets growth.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed last year. The highest average package was 9 lacs, and the lowest average package was 4 lacs. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and TCS visited our college for campus selection. These companies are also providing internships to our college students.
Infrastructure: In my first year, we are getting limited internet for our studies. But our seniors are in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year; they are getting unlimited data. Labs and classrooms are different for different departments. Mess food is available for hostellers, and there is a specific food court for both hostellers and dayscholars.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They treat every student equally. They make the concept easy to understand. Semester exams are challenging but manageable. The college provides adequate resources and support. 75% attendance is needed to give the semester exam.
Other: I have a passion for coding and problem-solving. And there are exciting career opportunities and job prospects. Also, I always wanted to become a junior engineer.

The Truth of Gita College.
Placements: So basically, last year, 80% of students got placed in good companies like Deloitte, HP, Innovatia, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 1 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HP and Deloitte, and many more. Approximately 80% of students enrolled in many internships, and some went for off-campusing.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are pretty decent. The classrooms for the first-year students are good but not that great. Common needs are present, like AC and smart boards, which are a good measure for making students learn visually. The college provides Wi-Fi to each and every student after they get enrolled in the college and the registration is complete. They are given a personal ID and password. The hostel for staying is good, but due to restrictions, it feels like jail. The food is also not good, and the hostel gate almost remains locked from the college timings until the end of the classes so that the students do not bunk their classes. The students of the first year are provided with a gate pass 2 days a week, in which they should return by 6 PM. There are many ambulances provided for the medical facility, and a dispensary is also there. Sports are hugely encouraged, and a multi-gym is also there.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are all good; almost all teachers are IITians, which helps the students get a good concept from the teachers. From my point of view, teaching electronics and chemistry in a B.Tech because after some time it will be of no use and will not benefit in the future. The semester exams are honestly difficult. Five modules come in the 1st semester, which is not a cup of tea. The question banks are provided to the students before the exam.
Other: I chose this course because of my keen interest in engineering. The best thing about engineering is coding. I like coding in C. The thing I wish were better is the holidays. Like in other colleges, they give many holidays, but in our college, it's not the same.

We spent a lot of money here, so they need to respect that.
Placements: This college is apparently good, but we can't call it the best for placements. The main problem is the lack of basic studies in learning. Here, teachers complete the course within a 3-month time period, which I don't think is enough for students to learn everything about the subject. That's why problems arise during placements.
Infrastructure: Mostly, the course structure is far better than other institutes, meaning the syllabus structure. Wi-Fi is not frequently working. The classroom structure is good because here we have smart classrooms and a seminar hall, etc., present. The library is also good, and we are also allowed in the evening for self-study. The quality of hostel food is bad.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are qualified, and the teaching quality is good, but the problem arises when there is a hard subject. Sometimes, we also get teachers who are qualified enough, but they are not good at representing their words to the students; this is why problems arise. The course curriculum is good. The pass percentage is 75-80.
Other: In my perspective, there should be some clubs needed to be present, like a coding club, singing club, etc. Things like scopes for students to choose their own specialization, and he/she can improve in that area only, then they don't need to study those areas in which they are not interested.

Review of Gandhi Institute for Technology and Administration (GITA) Autonomous College.
Placements: About 50-60% of students get placed in the course of Computer Science and Engineering. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA-12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra. Around 80% of students get internships from the Computer Science and Engineering branches in TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra. Top roles offered are project manager, testing manager, software engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: There are various facilities and infrastructure available for students of Computer Science and Engineering. They have air-conditioned classrooms, separate labs for different branches, one central library, and Wi-Fi connections for all students and staff. Separate hostels for boys and girls. Rooms of the hostel are very clean and spacious. food quality of the mess and canteen is very delicious. They have other facilities like sports, medical facilities, and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified, and a few are PhD holders as well. They are knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is very good. They provide proper notes and guidance to students. Course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. No, it is not very difficult to pass the semester examinations. The pass percentage is 45% in each subject.
Other: As Computer Science and Engineering is a trending and professional degree, I chose it. Best thing about this course is that the syllabus is very good and easy to understand. I wish to improve the course by removing unnecessary subjects so that it will be easier for students to top the examinations. Other things that take place in our college are fests, clubs, sports, campus crowds, connectivity, and extracurricular activities.

Review of GITA Autonomous College by 2024 students.
Placements: Around 50%-60% of students are getting placements on campus. The highest salary package offered around 12 LPA-15 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Many service-based companies are coming, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HP, HCL Tech, IBM, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: Academic and course curriculum is very good. All classrooms are air-conditioned with digital boards. Faculty are very friendly and treat students like their own children. Library is excellent, completely air-conditioned, with a good reading atmosphere. Hostel is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, and their teaching style is unique. Exams are strict in terms of invigilation, but the question paper is well-structured and based on the syllabus. Semester exams consist of moderate-level questions. Curriculum is excellent and aligned with industry standards.

Very good college for engineering in Odisha.
Placements: Semester students are eligible for campus placement. Previously, many companies came for hiring, but nowadays, few companies come. Most companies are providing sales and marketing jobs. This year, approximately 50% of students were placed, with an average package of 5 Lacs per annum. The college provides internships and IV visits. The college has taken students for IV visits to companies like NALCO, Tata Steel, CTTC, and many more. The teachers help a lot with making the projects. Both core and IT projects are done here.
Infrastructure: Hostel fees is INR 65,000. In the 1st year, the warden stays with the students for both boys and girls. From the 2nd year onwards, in the boys' hostel, there is no warden staying with them. But in the girls' hostel, each hostel has a warden. Food quality is very poor. Only 3 students stay in one room. Eligibility for the course is 60% in 12th Science. This college asks to pay 10,000 Rs advance to book your seat in the college. There is no cut-off mark in the college. Most students gain admission by paying extra money. I must say GITA Autonomous College has a very beautiful library and an excellent librarian. Everyone literally loves the GITA library. It consists of every book, literally every book, that students like to read. In the library, there is also a cinematic hall that is not less than any Inox. Every year, there is a cultural fest for 7 days, which is very exciting for every student.
Faculty: On the basis of effectiveness and qualifications, our professors are great. Professors try to make the students comfortable in the class and behave very friendly. GITA provides mentors to each student to discuss any problem with them. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60. Most teachers come to the class with their papers and teach with the help of their papers. If any student asks any cross-questions, the teacher solves those questions in the next class, not in the same class. As GITA College follows BPUT, the syllabus of each semester covers everything that is necessary for every B.Tech student. As I am in the 5th semester, I have learned Java, Python, Advanced Python, and DSA (not so much). They arranged these subjects in such a way that there will be no pressure for any student.
