Satisfied with the academics but not with the mess food.
Placements: The average package of our college is about 3.6 LPA; last year the highest package was around 12 LPA and the lowest was 1.4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. were allotted placements in our college. About 15 percent of students got placement from our college.
Infrastructure: Fully air-conditioned classrooms and labs with required equipment are present with skilled instructors and experienced teachers. Hostel rooms are quite good and well maintained with 24/7 unlimited Wi-Fi support. Hostel food is pretty average but hygienic. Meals are served 3 times a day. A medical room is available for any kind of emergency. Sports ground is there with dedicated basketball, cricket, and volleyball courts.
Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced and very helpful to the students and are always ready to engage with the students in any need. With an industry-ready course curriculum, students are trained here to make them capable of earning. The semester exams are pretty tough as it's an autonomous college and strictly the papers are evaluated.
Other: We all need jobs at the end of the day, and this particular course has a lot of scope as it's new and relevant.

Gita college- is it good to join ?
Placements: The college's main drawback lies in its placement record, with only 60% of students being placed through campus placements. The highest package offered so far is 11 LPA, while the lowest ranges from 1-2 LPA, with an average of 4-5 LPA. Previously, Infosys was the top recruiter, but they did not visit our campus this year. Other prominent companies include Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, TCS, and more. Similarly, internships at this college are subpar, with a majority being unpaid. Approximately 50–60% of students secure internships, with the top roles being software engineer, developer, and others.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is exceptional and exudes beauty. It boasts well-equipped labs for every subject, although Wi-Fi access is only provided starting in the second year. The highlight of the campus is undoubtedly the library, which houses a vast collection of books, articles, and novels, all neatly organized. Moving on to the hostels, the rooms are spacious and immaculate, with the bathrooms also maintained to a high standard by the diligent workers. However, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired, especially for students hailing from states other than Odisha. In terms of emergency services, the college provides an ambulance and a doctor. Unfortunately, the sports facilities are not well developed, resulting in a lack of interest among many students.
Faculty: The college offers excellent studies and has highly qualified and helpful teachers. The teaching style employed by the teachers is both unique and easy to understand. Being an autonomous college, the course curriculum is designed exclusively by the college itself, with a focus on campus placements. The course is designed in accordance with the latest trends. One of the highlights is that the semester exams are relatively easy if one pays attention to the teachers during class. The college boasts a pass percentage of over 90%, making the exams quite manageable.
Other: My decision to enroll in this course stems from my passion for computer science and artificial intelligence. What sets this course apart is its relevance in today's world as the most sought-after field. I hope that the course delves deeper into the subject matter and aids in securing lucrative job placements. Additionally, the annual ANWESA festival held in February adds to the vibrant campus atmosphere, and numerous students receive scholarships from their respective states, further enhancing the appeal of this institution.

Absolutely dissatisfied because the sports facilities were too poor.
Placements: In the present situation, the placements at our college are too bad. The mass recruiter was not approaching the college; Infosys, TCS and Wipro used to come earlier but not now. Around 60% of students are placed on campus. The highest package is 12 LPA.
The average is 4 LPAs.
The top recruiters are Tech Mahindra, HCL, TCS, and Wipro.
There is no chance of getting an internship on campus; students who try off-campus may get one.
Infrastructure: There are AC classrooms and labs, there is no Wi-Fi available for 1st year students and the library is the best part of campus; it contains 10,000+ books, e-journals, a separate novel and magazine section, a college theater and a gym. The sports facility is not that good; there is no scope in sports; not every sport is available here; there is indoor badminton and table tennis. There is a basketball court available but it is full of repairs. When it comes to the rainy season, the ground turns into a pond due to a poor drainage system, which takes months to recover.
Faculty: The qualifications of teachers are most of them Ph.D. holders with 10+ years of experience. They are friendly and cooperative and used to have fun in classes. The classes that are conducted have no free period except the 20-minute break. The PC lab was not good having old modal computers; some of them may not be in working condition. The exam was not that difficult; the questions that were coming in were marked as important in the classes, which makes it easy for the student to prepare. The pass percentage was 33%.
Other: In today's world, artificial intelligence is rapidly growing; if we control it, we can make money easily with simple commands so I chose this. There must be more practical experiences than theoretical ones. There is an annual fest known as Akanksha that will continue for 3 days and the remaining events are small events in which 1st year students are not allowed, like DJ nights. There is a scholarship counter on campus that pushes the latest notifications of scholarships and eligibility. The college conducts many events, like hackathons, debates, coding competitions and many more.

The Hidden Truth of GITA College Bhubaneswar .
Placements: I am studying in 1st year and my course is CSE (AIML). I asked some seniors about placements, they said it depends on your skills. The placements of this college is average. You have to study hard for good package in campus placements. In this college around 85% students got placed every year. The highest package of this college is 11 LPA. The lowest is 2 LPA. Average is 5 LPA. The top companies are tcs infosys arcgemini argusoft teach mahindra and many more. About internship I don't know much but one of the HOD said that we get internship from second year. The roles offered are like manager data entry devloper and etc.
Infrastructure: In this college 1st year students do not get Wi-Fi in the college or in the hostel. From 2nd year we get Wi-Fi everywhere. The infrastructure of this college is awesome especially the main block and library. The labs are good, they have every lab equipments in it. Maximum Every classroom are airconditioned and the infrastructure of the classroom is nice. Library is the best place in the whole campus. You get any book you need. The library contains all types of books in it and it is also airconditioned. The hostel rooms are great and you have an option to take 1 seated room,2 seated room,3 seated room and 4 seated room. In my opinion take bh-16 hostel, which is best in room quality. The food of the college is below average. Outside state students cannot eat this type of food. But we have to adjust because we have come study not to judges food. The medical facility is for 24*7. In this college sports and games scope is low because in rainy season the ground is filled with water by which we cannot play.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and great. I love their teaching skills. They are very qualified. They share their knowledge and information to us. Their teaching style is outstanding. If you join this college you will love their teaching. Due to this college is autonomous college, so they make their own and question paper. The syllabus is only focused on what the companies are wanting from the student. The exam not very difficult to write. Due to the college is autonomous the semester exams are easy and we can get good score. The semester is of total 60 marks, we have to get 24 marks to pass the exam.
Other: I have chosen CSE (AIML) I have chosen this course because AI has great scope in the future. The best things about the course is that we can know how an AI works and we can make projects about AI. Nothing everything in my course is best. In this college events are early happen. The college conducts on annual fest called "AKANKSA" in this month of march. Girls in this college are very less comparitevly to boys. Campus is beautiful. The provides scholarship of Odisha government. We can get 20000-50000 of scholarship amount. The college have clubs which can help in boost of our extra curricular activities.

Review of GITA Autonomous College by 2024 students.
Placements: Around 50%-60% of students are getting placements on campus. The highest salary package offered around 12 LPA-15 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Many service-based companies are coming, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HP, HCL Tech, IBM, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: Academic and course curriculum is very good. All classrooms are air-conditioned with digital boards. Faculty are very friendly and treat students like their own children. Library is excellent, completely air-conditioned, with a good reading atmosphere. Hostel is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, and their teaching style is unique. Exams are strict in terms of invigilation, but the question paper is well-structured and based on the syllabus. Semester exams consist of moderate-level questions. Curriculum is excellent and aligned with industry standards.
