Satisfied with the academics but not with the mess food.
Placements: The average package of our college is about 3.6 LPA; last year the highest package was around 12 LPA and the lowest was 1.4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. were allotted placements in our college. About 15 percent of students got placement from our college.
Infrastructure: Fully air-conditioned classrooms and labs with required equipment are present with skilled instructors and experienced teachers. Hostel rooms are quite good and well maintained with 24/7 unlimited Wi-Fi support. Hostel food is pretty average but hygienic. Meals are served 3 times a day. A medical room is available for any kind of emergency. Sports ground is there with dedicated basketball, cricket, and volleyball courts.
Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced and very helpful to the students and are always ready to engage with the students in any need. With an industry-ready course curriculum, students are trained here to make them capable of earning. The semester exams are pretty tough as it's an autonomous college and strictly the papers are evaluated.
Other: We all need jobs at the end of the day, and this particular course has a lot of scope as it's new and relevant.

Gita college- is it good to join ?
Placements: The college's main drawback lies in its placement record, with only 60% of students being placed through campus placements. The highest package offered so far is 11 LPA, while the lowest ranges from 1-2 LPA, with an average of 4-5 LPA. Previously, Infosys was the top recruiter, but they did not visit our campus this year. Other prominent companies include Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, TCS, and more. Similarly, internships at this college are subpar, with a majority being unpaid. Approximately 50–60% of students secure internships, with the top roles being software engineer, developer, and others.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is exceptional and exudes beauty. It boasts well-equipped labs for every subject, although Wi-Fi access is only provided starting in the second year. The highlight of the campus is undoubtedly the library, which houses a vast collection of books, articles, and novels, all neatly organized. Moving on to the hostels, the rooms are spacious and immaculate, with the bathrooms also maintained to a high standard by the diligent workers. However, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired, especially for students hailing from states other than Odisha. In terms of emergency services, the college provides an ambulance and a doctor. Unfortunately, the sports facilities are not well developed, resulting in a lack of interest among many students.
Faculty: The college offers excellent studies and has highly qualified and helpful teachers. The teaching style employed by the teachers is both unique and easy to understand. Being an autonomous college, the course curriculum is designed exclusively by the college itself, with a focus on campus placements. The course is designed in accordance with the latest trends. One of the highlights is that the semester exams are relatively easy if one pays attention to the teachers during class. The college boasts a pass percentage of over 90%, making the exams quite manageable.
Other: My decision to enroll in this course stems from my passion for computer science and artificial intelligence. What sets this course apart is its relevance in today's world as the most sought-after field. I hope that the course delves deeper into the subject matter and aids in securing lucrative job placements. Additionally, the annual ANWESA festival held in February adds to the vibrant campus atmosphere, and numerous students receive scholarships from their respective states, further enhancing the appeal of this institution.

Review of GITA Autonomous College by 2024 students.
Placements: Around 50%-60% of students are getting placements on campus. The highest salary package offered around 12 LPA-15 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Many service-based companies are coming, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HP, HCL Tech, IBM, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: Academic and course curriculum is very good. All classrooms are air-conditioned with digital boards. Faculty are very friendly and treat students like their own children. Library is excellent, completely air-conditioned, with a good reading atmosphere. Hostel is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, and their teaching style is unique. Exams are strict in terms of invigilation, but the question paper is well-structured and based on the syllabus. Semester exams consist of moderate-level questions. Curriculum is excellent and aligned with industry standards.

Absolutely dissatisfied because the sports facilities were too poor.
Placements: In the present situation, the placements at our college are too bad. The mass recruiter was not approaching the college; Infosys, TCS and Wipro used to come earlier but not now. Around 60% of students are placed on campus. The highest package is 12 LPA. The average is 4 LPAs. The top recruiters are Tech Mahindra, HCL, TCS, and Wipro. There is no chance of getting an internship on campus; students who try off-campus may get one.
Infrastructure: There are AC classrooms and labs, there is no Wi-Fi available for 1st year students and the library is the best part of campus; it contains 10,000+ books, e-journals, a separate novel and magazine section, a college theater and a gym. The sports facility is not that good; there is no scope in sports; not every sport is available here; there is indoor badminton and table tennis. There is a basketball court available but it is full of repairs. When it comes to the rainy season, the ground turns into a pond due to a poor drainage system, which takes months to recover.
Faculty: The qualifications of teachers are most of them Ph.D. holders with 10+ years of experience. They are friendly and cooperative and used to have fun in classes. The classes that are conducted have no free period except the 20-minute break. The PC lab was not good having old modal computers; some of them may not be in working condition. The exam was not that difficult; the questions that were coming in were marked as important in the classes, which makes it easy for the student to prepare. The pass percentage was 33%.
Other: In today's world, artificial intelligence is rapidly growing; if we control it, we can make money easily with simple commands so I chose this. There must be more practical experiences than theoretical ones. There is an annual fest known as Akanksha that will continue for 3 days and the remaining events are small events in which 1st year students are not allowed, like DJ nights. There is a scholarship counter on campus that pushes the latest notifications of scholarships and eligibility. The college conducts many events, like hackathons, debates, coding competitions and many more.

GITA- Autonomous college Bhubaneswar.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students from computer science branch are getting placed by college placements. This college is bringing mostly service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Students are also getting internship opportunities at this college.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good. The food in the hostel mess is average. Total campus including hostels has 5G Wi-Fi. Sports activities are good. Many clubs are available. Multigym is available with a good trainer. Courses are very much industry-relevant as AI is booming. My branch is AIML and career growth in this is good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and they teach in a very good teaching style. They care about every student. Exams are very strict here. The questions are moderate and most are from the class notes even in competitive exams. The questions are from teachers' class notes and are overall good.
