It has experienced faculty, good infrastructure, and a great campus life.

It is one of the best colleges for pharmacy.

Placements: Around 50% of students get placed every year. There is one separate committee that looks after the students' placements. The college invites many big companies for recruitment. It is mainly on the student to clear the exams and be eligible. The main recruiting companies are Cipla, Dr. Reddy's, Sun Pharma etc.

I passed out in the year 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Placements: I got placed through GITAM in Nestle. But there are almost 95% of students who passed out along with me didn't obtain jobs as there are only 2 companies for placements in 2020. Our college should be improved in providing placements at least in next coming years. Overall, our college is good.

It is a good college with bad management.

Placements: Out of 44 students, less than 5 students were placed from our course. I didn't find any top recruiters here, but small companies nearby visited here to hire few students. Roles offered are entry-level positions like formulations, QC, QA and R&D. I am not aware of the salary packages offered. Almost every student got an internship opportunity, but as the internship being mandatory, we enrolled in companies on our own by making requests.

It is the best college to learn, but it is not profitable in terms of placements.

Placements: Our university doesn't offer any placement assistance to pharma students. If students force them, they may bring 1 or 2 companies. The university only focuses on B.Tech and MBA students placements.

Review of GITAM Institute of Pharmacy.

Placements: I got placed with a package of 4.8 LPA in Nestle India Limited. My batchmates also got placed in reputed pharmaceutical companies like AstraZeneca, Cipla, H&H, etc. The companies which visit the campus include both production and marketing profiles, so the students get a good number of choices to select.

The best college to choose.

Placements: It is a superb college. It mostly suits the rich people who want very high standards. Placements are good. The placement criteria are based on the average marks of students. If you are good at studies, then you can choose this college.

Overall, our college is good. Satisfied with everyone like friends, teachers, etc.

Placements: If you want to get a job through college placements, you will get a job for sure. The starting salary package offered was Rs. 16,000 per month. Students have to work hard and forget about enjoying, and the rest of career is nothing if once you get a job. I suggest the students go on their career interests so that it could enhance their skills in the field they choose, and that help the students to withstand in future rather than getting a job after pharmacy.

I am satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and placements in 2018.

Placements: Reputed companies visit our college for placements and offer a very good salary package. They try hard to invite many companies and help us to get placed. For the development of the campus, the whole management keeps focussing on the placements. About 60% of the students got placed.

Placements: About 40% of the students were placed from the final year of bachelor of pharmacy course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 16,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 14,000 per month. Around 80% of the students got internship opportunities in their third year. The placement cell is very helpful regarding placements and internships.

I am satisfied with faculty, infrastructure, good placements and facilities.

Placements: Placements for seniors and our batch were good enough. Many companies visited our campus for placements. Among them, Nestle was one of the company, and it offered the highest salary of Rs. 25,000 per month. Students had to write first aptitude tests.

A bittersweet experience at GITAM Institute of Pharmacy.

Placements: In 2018, hardly a few pharma companies visited our campus for placement drives. Last year, our senior batch got enough opportunities to get placed, but this time around hardly one or two companies like Nestle and Divi's have visited the college for placements. The average salary offered was around Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month. Our college doesn't provide any internships. It is left at the discretion of students to find an appropriate company to intern. Also, no stipend is provided to stude...
