Review of GITAM School of Science, Visakhapatnam.
Placements: About 50 percent of the students were selected for placements. The highest package is around 5 LPA, and the average lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Deloitte and Bira. The top roles offered for my course are financial analyst, executive roles, and customer relation officer.
Infrastructure: GITAM has smart classrooms equipped with various facilities like Wi-Fi, ICT, projectors, and air conditioning. The food in the canteen is really good. Students also have the option to participate in extracurricular activities and join their favourite clubs.
Faculty: GITAM offers excellent and versed faculty across various subjects, all of whom are doctorates. The course curriculum is very relevant and will help students with their future prospects. The semester exams are not so difficult, and they are easy if students pay attention in class.
Other: I chose this course because I enjoy working with accounts, and it offers exactly what I am looking for. This course is really good for people who want to mold their career in finance and accounts. There are many fests every year at GITAM, and one can attend to take a break from academics.

Gitam Review: Is it worth it?
Placements: The placement opportunity for the UG Programme (Management) is almost nil this year. Very few companies visited, and hardly anyone got placement from the management block. For programs like MBA, hardly anyone got a good package; the average package was 4 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of GITAM is really good compared to other colleges in Visakhapatnam. The campus is well-maintained; all classes have centralized AC. The library has a variety of books. Free Wi-Fi, a gym, a badminton court, and a TT court are available. There are plenty of canteens on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-spoken and help you to perform well. They are highly approachable and also motivate us to score well. The grading system is really bad. The semester exams are very easy for someone who attends the college regularly and pays attention in lectures.
Other: College life is very good. You can expect one fest/event every month. One has to clear the GAT exam to get a scholarship. There are plenty of clubs to choose from.
