Placements: I found a quite decent amount of students got a job through campus placements with sizeable packages. There were some top companies had their interviews right inside the campus. Nearly 70% of students placed in top firms and core companies in many cities all over India. Ac few students got internships in some research and development organisation with a good stipend.
Placements: In our college, training sessions were provided for placement in both technical and non-technical ways. In each semester, the software depends on our department and soft skills such as personality development, interview training and aptitude practice were taught. There are only 2 or 3 companies which came for on-campus interviews. There are also BPO and some IT-based companies. There are no placements for core departments. Some of the off-campus drives were recommended for us. CSS Corp and Amazo...
Placements: Our college placements compared to last year are less this year. 2-3 companies conducted placement drives for the student this year. They only conducted BPO drives, not for core companies. I think only CCS Crop and Aspiring Mind conducted placement drives this year. 2 more companies visited but I forgot their names. They offered a role of system admin.
Placements: Campus placements are not available because of the ineligibility of candidates. Eligible candidates are personally referred by the institution. Students don't know the meaning of internship except for 5-6. Only about 10 percent students get placed.
The college is in good shape and class were good. No extra activities. Only on self-development and no other way to excel yourself, average placement record. On a full I give 7 for 10, during my time, some good students got nice marks and placement. Some after first got on their own and now in high demand.
Our college has the best infrastructure facilities, peaceful campus, good faculty members and better transportation facility. The good brand name for more than 25 years and a better college around the Tambaram. The fee structure of the college is as per the Anna University’s norms and the lab facilities of the college are good.
The college administration are money minded people so they just plan how to get money from the students. There was no sports team in the college. They run the college just to earn money. The facilities are okay. But food is very worst. There are no changes in the food menu of the hostel. The faculties are good to teach except some people. The college don't have a good canteen.
It is a Good college to learn located Near to outer city. Located at Perungalathur (Near Tambaram) 5 kms from perungalathur railway station which is connected to the city with frequent suburban trains. It’s Easy for hostel people to return to their hometown as Railwasy station is nearby and Perungalathur Bus Stand is a prominent boarding point to travel all over Tamilnadu. Additional online certifications are offered. (They will provide opportunity, they won’t force you to learn). Bus transporta...
4 years of life down the toilet is what I have to say for this college. Infrastructure is really bad. They claim that they have a swimming pool, but it isn’t bigger than five bath tubs combined. Hostel food is bad for anyone who likes human food. But they have got a big ship which is only for mariners who are also jobless. They say that they are third ranked in Tamil Nadu for marine. Guess what? There are only four colleges. There won’t be any functions, any college fests, or anything which migh...
I am from GKM Engineering College. It has good infrastructure, well trained faculties, gives more importance to education other than extra activities, fees is little more especially for books. No tours. Transport facilities are good. Placements are not up to the mark only BPO’s come to recruit the students. It is a good place for education but not for placements.
Placements: The placement offered was poor. 35,000 was the highest salary offered, the average salary offered was INR 20,000, the lowest salary offered was INR. 15000. Infosys and cognizant was the top recruiting company for my course. A software developer was the job offered. The highest salary offered was INR 2 lacs, the Average salary offered was INR 1.5 Lacs, the lowest salary offered was INR 75,000.
Placements: Over around 30 percent of students were placed through placement with 2 to 3 Lacs per annum as salary. Freshers are placed in training for a period of time. Almost all got the internship training through placement cell. BPO and call centres are hiring most of the people.
Placements: The placement is too poor in this college for marine engineering not even a single company come for the placement in the college for marine engineering very unexpected college response on this placement, even not a single company know about this college.
Placements: In our college, they didn't provide any placements, because students are very less and nowadays no company hired the students without any payment. So the college is not offering placements. The passed out batch students will try to get a job through interviews.
Placements: The ambiance for doing UG in Chennai is remarkable. Faculty is friendly and informative in all aspects. They have arranged internship in leading infrastructure companies. I got placed in L&T Chennai through off campus.
Placements: College placement is not good. For placement, the college asks for money. The education provided by the college is good. But if you want good placement then don't join this college. There is no placement for students.
