    The college is satisfactory.
Placements: The placement rate was around 30 to 40 percent. The highest package was 32 LPA. Bosch was the top recruiting company, and the average package was around 6 to 7 LPA. Students even got offers from big companies like Bosch, Mercedes Benz, and many others.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi and labs are always available in the campus, and are sufficient for the number of students. The library is also well-stocked. The college provides good facilities in the hostel, and there are many opportunities for students to engage in indoor and outdoor activities, including sports.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very knowledgeable and provide a good education. They keep up with the latest teaching trends and provide students with opportunities to learn in a way that will help them get a good job at a great company.
Other: I chose this course because it provides a wide range of career opportunities in different sectors. For example, graduates can work for software companies, hardware companies, and many other types of employers. This course provides a solid foundation for a successful career in the field of computer science.

Good environment, good quality teachers, and good for placement.
Placements: I am passing out in year 2026. Our percentage should be good for the interview of Google and other highly paid jobs. Students should maintain good quality marks and maintain their resume strong with all satisfied works abroad or in India. The minimum offer, the highest package, is 20 to 25 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good to respond to students’ classes. Hostel mess is very clean and they are a very good environment. Libraries are maintained very well. There are available all test books to students according to their course. The test books are very good to learn more about our course.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable; they teach us like friends. They repeat their concepts. If one student also does not understand, they explain them in a proper way. They conduct 3 internals before the sem exam to make students’ preparation good before sem exams. Sem papers are easy.
Other: I am passing out in year 2026. I chose CS engineering because it's a trending course that gives a high-quality salary in the coming future. In GMIT, events are much better than other colleges in Davanagere.

GMIT has really good infrastructure and facility.
Placements: 55 percent of students were placed in our course and in our branch; the highest package was 14.5 lacs per annum and the average was 3 to 5 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Infosys, Bosch, etc. 70 percent of students probably got internships, but only 50 percent have been selected for companies like those mentioned above.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are good All classrooms are digital. Recently, our GMIT has been made GM University, and now all classrooms are modified, digital and advanced. Wi-Fi facilities are available all over the campus; labs are also good, in Davanagere, our campus has big and digitally advanced library; hostel is good, clean, and maintained every time; the food was healthy and tasty; the canteen also has all types of foods for students from the outer state or outer country; medical and sports facilities are also there; and our new athletic runway is under construction.
Faculty: The teaching staff was qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was the best. They explained using screens, which also made it easy to understand for students. Yes, our VTU course makes students ready for the industry. The exams conducted in our college were difficult and the strict evaluation process made the pass percentage 80 percent.
