As an autonomous college, the syllabus is updated and industrial friendly.

Placements: Our college has many companies which deal with the core part of the mechanical branch. My mechanical engineering seniors are hired in very well known multinational companies like AutomotiveIndia, Cockfosters, Bibo, TCS, Infotech, Infosys, Wartsila, L&T, MIEL, TCS, AMW, Wipro, Krisam and many companies.

One of the best colleges and ranked as the best college in Andhra Pradesh.

Placements: Our college is one of the best colleges for the placements in the East Godavari district. Every year, nearly 60% of the students were placed in the campus recruitment. Nearly, all the corporate companies will visit the college. The minimum salary offered by the campus is Rs. 15,000 per month. Every student is involved in internships. Our college is autonomous, and it is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. The best thing in the college is, every week there will be a CRT class for free until the end of t...

Good college. I recommend all the students to study in this college.

Placements: The college offers a good placement. Before that, it conducts a training cell for the students. Various companies come to this college like TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. And offer them a good package as well. Blessed to be in this college, and thankful to God for placing me in TCS.

If anyone asks about my college, I will surely advise them to join.

Placements: We are getting a lot of core and software companies. The companies like C-Core, Rayudu Spinning Mills, Byju's, Go speedy Go, TCS and a lot more companies visited. Compared to our seniors, our college has improved a lot in the number of students getting jobs and the number of companies visited.

The college is good because of the facilities, faculty, and the placements.

Placements: Around, 4 to 5 companies visit the college to conduct the placements. In the placements, on an average, 40% of the students got selected. The companies offered the salary package of 12K-15K per month. The companies offered the role of the junior engineer to the students.

The college is absolutely good and well built with all amenities.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch are good. Most of the students got placed in good companies, maybe 70-80%. I'm not sure about the salaries offered. Many companies visited the campus. The students were offered a prior role. None of them got an internship from the college. No stipend was offered. There is a placement cell, but I have no idea about its efficiency.

College is good, not the best but also not the worst, in short its a decent and good institute.

Placements: GIET college takes effort in inviting campus for the placements. The number of companies coming for the placements is also good, and no one can say that 'companies do not come to GIET college for placement', although the offered package is not very high, also all the packages are not low. Total percentage of the students selected is roughly around 20-25% per placement, which is not very bad. The maximum package offered is 5.8 lacks per annum. And the lowest package offered is 1.9 lacks per annum...

I will prefer my college but only for the one who is interested in ECE and CSE.

Placements: Good opportunities will be provided for CSE and ECE branches. Coming to mechanical they are a bit low. A few opportunities can be expected. BPO type jobs are highly provided, which is a waste of time. In case if one wants to excel in communication. It is a good opportunity to work for a year.

The college is much better when compared to the nearby colleges.

Placements: The placements are good for our branch. Generally, for every college, the maximum of 10 companies will offer the jobs on the core side. Like that for our college also we get ten companies, which are much better for the mechanical when compared to the other nearby colleges. Almost, 75% of the students will get the jobs in the placements.

Satisfied with my faculty, management, but not satisfied with placements in 2017 and 2018.

Placements: There very few placements for the mechanical students, but some start-up companies are coming to the campus. Less than 20% students were placed. The highest salary was 4.20 lacks per annum, and the lowest salary was 1.20 lacks per annum. Tata group of companies, Infosys, Virtusa, GO SPEEDY GO, etc., companies are coming to my college.

Choose the best college for your bright future.

Placements: There are no placements. They have a lot of influence, but it will not help out to hire you on the campus. If at all there is a campus drive it will be 200% fake. So don't worry, search for a new college. Today campus training is there in every college to prepare students for interviews, but students are unwilling to attend them because there are no campus placements.

I am proud to say that I am a student of GIET as all the provided facilities are good.

Placements: The placement rate is super. 640 placements are available in our college for all the branches as it will be more happy to say. The minimum salary offered is Rs. 25,000. I can proudly say that my college is the best in Andhra Pradesh. About 60% students were placed and the highest salary offered is Rs. 80,000 and the lowest offer is Rs. 20,000, while the average salary offered to the students will be minimum Rs. 40,000. According to the knowledge of the students, they will get the jobs.

Satisfied with my college and my progress but not with the placements and internships in 2017.

Placements: The placement rate for my super senior batch was too low. Nearly 40% students were placed during the placements. According to my knowledge, the highest salary is Rs. 7.0 lacs -Rs. 7.5 lacs per annum and the lowest salary is Rs. 2.0 lacs - Rs. 2.5 lacs per annum. The companies like Amazon, TCS, Westline, Varun Motors, Accenture, etc. 100% percent students have done their internship from our college as it was mandatory. Most of the students visited the industries which do not offer a stipend. ...

Top in college life but poor in faculty.

Placements: Previously, GIET was the top college for placements around Godavari districts. But once Sheher sir, the placement officer/corporate relationship manager left for Australia, the placements fell down and now the college is struggling to get even 3rd-class placements.

Best college in East Godavari after JNTUK.

Placements: In my batch, 67 people were selected in TCS, and 2 people in value labs. Most of the students were selected in Chandra Anna Udyog Mela. Up to 300+ students were selected in the campus drive. Whereas, with our seniors, only 212 students were selected in the campus drive.

It is not a value addition to join this college. The infrastructure facilities are not maintained properly. The wash rooms are not well maintained. The management itself does not give powers to principal. Change cannot be easily brought in this college. Faculty members are the previous batch passed out students (mostly). The college got good name in 2006, later it is getting degraded year after year.

It is an autonomous college from 2014. It will provide best possible assistance for placements related to IT sector, but not for core branches. 300 acre campus shared with two other engineering colleges. Some people say that they are subsidiaries of the main college. No proper final project preparation is provided for the core branches.

College that cheats everyone. Running 3 colleges with small differences in their names. So students think that GIET is the only college. They find out after getting a seat in the 3rd campus that it has some poor facilities like no laboratories, no practical experiences, and lack of good faculty members, etc. They won’t give your building fund, and some special money in fees reimbursement from the government. They are only doing business with the students. So my suggestion is to enquire about the...
