Dissatisfying faculty, and unprofessional and unfriendly atmosphere, but good placement training.

Placements: I am currently pursuing the 3rd year of my B.Tech. The placement package for our seniors was 22 LPA as maximum, and the average was 4 LPA. Most of the companies that visit our college are service-based and don't offer many salaries. But in recent years, the number of product-based companies visiting our college on the raise. There are no internship opportunities provided by the college. We have to search for them on our own. The training and placement cell is trying its best to give the students...

Absolutely a good college, but can be much better.

Placements: The placements are good. The core companies are less. Other branches get good companies. Compared to other colleges, Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology is good. The placements are increasing every year and students getting placed is also increasing.

Opportunities are always there. One have to grab it.

Placements: The placements were good. They generally train you for the placements. The opportunities are there. The only thing you have to do is believe and work hard. The average salary offered will be around 3 Lacs per annum. But, we get higher packages too. There are companies which offer around 6 lac per annum. It does follow a rule that candidates who are selected for one company aren't allowed to sit for the other companies who give similar package.

Not sugestable for an extra curricular student because this college concentrates only on education.

Placements: The college has 80% of placement's, but at the time of joining, faculty says that it had 100% placement. So it's one the major drawback. People can get better colleges out in the city other than this. So kindly choose a better college. It doesn't even have sports.

Gokaraju Rangaraju is for studious people.

Placements: Training for the placements was average in condition. In 2017, the number of placed students is more when we compare it to 2016, but companies which are coming decreased. GRIET gets only 2 mass recruiting companies. If you miss that, your chances of getting placed is a bit low. Here, GRIET has a good policy of 1 student 1 placement. When they get companies with a higher package, they allow all the students who are even placed.

Good placements but the atmosphere is not friendly.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. They are increasing every year from the past 3-4 years. Almost 70% students will get placed provided they have good communication skills along with technical skills. The highest salary for our batch was 6 LPA and the lowest being 2 LPA. On an average, salary will be around 3 LPA. TCS is the major company which can take out around 250-300 students every year. Other companies like IBM, Deloitte, CSC, ADP, Trianz, Infotech, MedhaServodrives, NTT Data, etc. also comes...

It is one of the good colleges in Hyderabad. We can learn new and advanced topics which are not there in other college. Placements are not great but fine. Faculties are taking care of the students. I am not going to comment on ability of faculty. College timing is flexible which is useful to learn outside stuff.

Very Strict. Especially for electrical department, it is more like a school than college. In the end, you still end up having a feeling towards your college but for a guy or for someone who wants to be free and get the experience of being in a college, gets disappointed, education wise and extracurricular wise. It will be hell for those who want that experience.

Joined with high expectations but college faculty is not as par the standards. Caste feeling is more in the college including the faculty and supporting staff. Very strict rules like dress code, no phones allowed and differentiation of boys and girls in every step. Transportation is okay and college location is awesome since it is located on a hill and view will be nice.

Our college has good campus placements.

Placements: I am an EEE student who will graduate in 2025. My batch mates are doing well, preparing well for their upcoming exams like semester exams and other competitive exams as well as for campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4.9 LPA.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with our college.

Placements: Up to 10% of the students from our course got selected in placements. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. TCS was the top recruiting company for our course, and some other companies also visited, but they didn't recruit many students. In terms of placements, our college was good when I passed out, but I think it is getting worst now.

Fear of placements still exists while the zero encouragement towards extra curricular.

Placements: 30% of our seniors were placed well, wherein most of them were offered jobs in TCS Ninja and Capgemini. Very few students got placed in TCS ninja. The brighter students got placed in companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. The highest package was offered from Microsoft around 40LPA and the least is 3LPA by TCS Ninja.

I suggest that you to take admission here and also study with joy.

Placements: TCS recruits most of the students from our college. Softskills are must to get placed. I suggest that you to attend the CRT classes, which are provided by our college provides so that you will have a clear idea about interviews. You need to be good in your core subjects, and there will be 4 rounds in the interview. You should be good at communication skills and learn the C language and data structures before placements.

Review of Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. If you are at least average at academics, there is a high chance to get placed in a company. Limited companies with high packages visit the college to select students who are talented. But there is a criterion that you cannot go for multiple interviews if you got selected in one company.

It is just a top college for namesake.

Placements: Top companies do not visit our college, which is really bad. The only one good company which we get is Deloitte, and that too they hire a maximum of 3 students from the whole college. TCS also visit the campus, and where you know the drill, they hire many students only to be back to square one.
