I am dissatisfied because there are no freshers and fests.

Placements: In Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET), it has a good placement record. Their top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, and Accenture. Coming to the package, the average package is around ₹4-6 LPA, and one of our seniors got 19.5 LPA.

College is average. Placements and infrastructure are also average.

Placements: Nearly 90% of students secure placements from our college. Most of the students get placements off-campus. College even advertises off-campus placements, especially for students who secured high paying jobs, as if they got placement in-campus drive. The highest salary package offered in IT branch is 32 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA as other college has.

It's a waste of time to join this college.

Placements: I think almost 80% students get placed. The lowest is 2 LPA and the highest is 13 LPA. Tech Mahindra recruited the students. Production and inspection manager roles are offered.

GRIET is good only for placements.

Placements: CSE has 100% of placements, and the highest package offered is 44 LPA for 11 students, which is great news. They were able to crack even in the pandemic situation, which shows the ability of management to help students. Almost everyone got an internship.

College is okay but, not up to the mark .

Placements: Not many students are getting placed in college placements and our college not even talking about internships which we need. Top companies are google, Microsoft and Tcs only with good packages. All companies offer like 6 lpa packages which many people are not interested .

Our college does no care for students, and all they want is money.

Placements: A software engineer role is only offered in our course. Most of the jobs are available in courses like IT, CSE and ECE. Priority of placements is less for ME, CE and EEE courses. Students get core jobs very rarely. Even then, there is limited recruitment. The placement training is given only in C programming, and no new software is taught here.

I am disappointed with the college as they can ask money for every course.

Placements: The college provides many placements. It does not provide an internship, but students are not allowed to go to do an internship. The salary package offered ranges between 2.5-3 LPA. Above 80% of the students from our course got an internship.

Placements: Only 20% of the students get placed from every branch. The highest salary package offered here was 2.1 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.4 LPA. Deloitte, TCS, Tech Mahindra, NTT Data, Hyundai, Infosys, etc., are the top recruiters for our course. The assistant software engineer is the top role offered for CSE. It is a below average college. Students have to be very careful.

Placements: Placements were not that good for the other branches. IT companies steal half of the crowd from various streams with an average package of around 3 lacs per annum. Students can choose internships outside, and apart from that, students have to concentrate more on the technical stuff.

A college with good infrastructure, but it doesn't have innovative faculty.

Placements: Computer science and electronics branches get the maximum placements. There is no choice of placements for electrical engineering students. The students of EEE department were unable to get placed in core companies and also software companies. Only 3 or 4 major companies come to our college for placements.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, poor placements, bad campus surroundings.

Placements: There are no placements in our college, and also no specialized training for the placements. We paid a special fee for the placement which was not at all useful. About 5 to 10 students got placed in the software field. Students who were the top 10 rankers got the placements and not the ones who didn't have much subject knowledge.

The review of civil department in GRIET, Hyderabad.

Placements: The placements depend on the individual capabilities of students. The college plays a key role in attracting the big companies. In civil engineering, there are around 60-70 jobs from 6-7 companies. The placements may increase from this year, so I'll rate 3 out of 5 for the placements.

Overall satisfied with the infrastructure and support given by the faculty to work on projects.

Placements: The placement percentage of the institution is increasing every year. TCS visits the college every year and hires maximum students. Cyient is the core company for mechanical students. The institution does not provide any internship for the students.
