Bad infrastructure, above average faculty, a bit expensive.
Placements: Average package in my course is about 5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting company, in my opinion, is Deloitte, where I too am placed for the role of Audit and Assurance. The lowest package is 3.4 Lacs per annum in Accenture, which is very low, and their placement process takes more than 1 month, which is unnecessary botheration.
Infrastructure: SD college should really emphasize on improving its infrastructure. Dirty washrooms, no Wi-Fi (but it is mentioned that it is available), suffocating classrooms in summers because there are no air conditions, and students are not civilized as they destroy the property.
Faculty: Some of the faculty is very rude, and some professors don't teach properly. Although there are some who are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the subjects are similar in every semester, so we study the same thing almost every semester. Business Studies subject of class 12th CBSE will be taught in every semester.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to pursue avenues in accounts subject. They should really add relevant subjects to the course other than teaching the same thing every time. 50% of the crowd is not civilized and very ill-mannered. College charges a very high fine compared to other colleges in Chandigarh for no reason.

It's a good college for commerce and management.
Placements: The placement percentage is 85% for my course. The average package is about 4-5 LPA. Although there are good companies like EY, Deloitte, PwC, ICICI Bank, TCS, and HCL, it is well known mainly for commerce and management studies. It is a good choice for undergraduate courses.
Infrastructure: The hostels are pretty decent and good for second-year students. The food is good, although the classrooms are non-AC. The hostel is a better place to connect. The mess food is good, but sometimes it can upset your stomach. Wi-Fi is available in both the college and the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and qualified. Teaching is nice, and accountancy is the best subject. The teachers for other subjects are pretty young and friendly. There are MSTs every semester before final exams, and if you fail the MSTs, you have to pay a fine.
Other: Not many Indian festivals are celebrated in college because of the small campus.

Review of Goswami Ganesh Dutta S.D. College.
Placements: Around 8-10% of students get placed every year in our college. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Companies like Accenture, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, etc., visit our college to recruit students. Our college is good at placements. Around 10-12 students got internships in Deloitte and Accenture. The role offered is sales executive.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but the range is very low. Classrooms are decent. Our classroom fans and other switches are in very bad condition. The food served in the hostel is good. Medical and sports facilities are decent. Overall our college provides decent facilities.
Faculty: The teaching quality is decent. Some teachers are extremely good. Some others are quite the opposite. The course curriculum is not relevant. It does not make students industry-ready Semester exams are good. Average students can score decent marks.

The overall experience is satisfied because this college has a good name all over India.
Placements: Around 180 students were placed in the course in 2022–23. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Accenture, Aglomill Technologies, Ceasefire Industries, Edurev, Fitelo, Kuber Financial Services, Slide Tech, Codequotient, MWIDM, and Unschool.
Infrastructure: There is a free Wi-Fi system all over the place. Classrooms are furnished, and the library is air-conditioned and digital and has a Readers Club as well. The hostel has both types of rooms, with and without AC. Food is neither too good nor too bad. Medical facilities are free for students of SD College at the nearest government hospital.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and extremely helpful. They are kind and benevolent in nature. This course alone is not that helpful; you have to opt for other skills and learning. Only then can you benefit from this course. The semester exams are not that difficult if you study with dedication.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue an MBA in the future, and this course provides the perfect base for it. The college organizes various events, and there are many clubs as well in which students can take part and upskill their skill set.

Good placement Average infrastructure Nice faculty Less events Less official events.
Placements: Placement in this college is comparatively better than others but still less in number. But bring the only college which provides placement it's nice for some Bachelor degree it provides good amount of experience to the commerce students and have clubs which train us.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is very average. It has library, common room for girls and classes but no Wi-Fi. About hostel they are very well maintained. We have AC hostels which is very relaxing for Student. College also include sports, tier are clubs and society which we can participate and gain experience .
Faculty: Yes teachers are very helpful and friendly, well qualified, educated. It has surely got best faculty Tier are not much curriculum activity here. But on the basis of preparation, studies, faculty is best and have nice passing percentage This course super relevant for further .
Other: I chose B.Com course as this college is very famous for commerce courses giving placement opportunity. Thought this missed the way of studying through technology it has average infrastructure but nice hostels. Tier are less curricular activities. Tier are events held but not too much.
