Placements: 30% of all students in college were placed in the B.A. programme. The highest package was 12 lacs p. a., whereas the average package was Rs 4 lacs to 4.5 lacs p. a. The lowest package was Rs 3.20 lacs pa. 10% of students got internships in government agencies.

Placements: In my particular course, there are absolutely no placements. We are not informed about any interviews or recruitment. I guess this is not a failure on the part of the college but it's because of the nature of the course itself. Bachelors of arts is a course with almost zero employability.

Placements: Some top companies, like ICICI Bank, Deloitte, and EY, visited the campus for recruitment. These are just a few to names. The salary packages offered varies from 6.5 LPA to 9 LPA. EY and Deloitte offered jobs in auditing and accounting services. Around 35% of the students got internships in HDFC Bank & Samsung respectively.

Placements: Goswami Ganesh Dutta S D college is one of the topmost reputed colleges in India. The placement record of this college is very good. As the college ranks the highest in the list of best colleges of Chandigarh many good companies arrive every year on the campus.

Placements: Around 1000 students got placed from college. The highest salary offered was around 1 LPA - 2 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was around Rs. 10,000 per month. Google, Amazon and other multi national companies are the top recruiting companies. Around 30-40% of the students got internships from our course. Journalists, psychologists and sociologists are the top roles offered in our course.

Placements: Very few placements are offered, and students find internships on their own. Bachelor of arts is a general degree, and most of the students go on to enrol in postgraduate courses rather than taking up jobs as the job market is very limited. Entry-level jobs for psychology usually begin during and after the completion of the master's degree.

Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities.

Placements: I don't know what percentage of students got placed from our course, but placements available for students after pursuing B.A. are limited due to lack of professional experience. Placements are available for other courses which have a better professional approach, but B.A. as a degree provides limited skills.

Placements: The placement of GGDSD college is not so good. We get many internship opportunities from this college which help us in the overall personality development of a student. There are so many courses available in the college.

Placements: I heard from our seniors that placements are not good and not up to the mark. Not many students get the internships, and best placement offers by the companies.

Placements: I am in my second year so I have not experienced placements yet. Usually, the experience of students with recruitment has been good. Companies like Deloitte, Ernst & Young come for campus placements. However, the packages they offer are still unknown.

Placements: I passed out in 2017 batch. Few companies came and they offered jobs to all the students. But the packages offered was very less. The maximum package offered was approximately 3 Lacs. During the interview, students were given the choice of written or face to face interview.

Placements: I do not know much about the placement cell, but some of my juniors and seniors got placed. The college offers enough exposure for students to do an internship in their respective fields, ranging from even management to organising trips, content writing and photography. Our college provides placements and internships within and outside the college for students.

Placements: There are about 200 hundred non-medical students. Placements are offered in our college but are not as they were expected. There are more placements for the course like B.Com and BBA. Placements for our course are available, but the salary packages offered are not good enough.

Placements: Placements are very average in our college because mainly many students do not apply for placements after the course. My course is bachelors of science in non-medical, and our batch has at least 50 students. Some of our batchmates are from different states. Around 40%-50% of the students got placed.

Placements: Placements were from local companies of Chandigarh, 30% of students got placed and internship was not provided to UG students. The highest package offered was 300000, and role offered was majorly for marketing feild. Students got placements in kpmg, media companies.

Placements: The placements are average. The head of the placement cell is very good, but the students lack in enthusiasm due to which a lot of companies refuse to visit the campus. A few top companies come but majorly only BPO companies come to the campus with very meagre pay scales.

Placements: I don't know much about the placements as I've been doing B.A. in arts so I don't have much knowledge about the recruiting companies and internship. No idea about the top roles and the packages but I've heard about 50-60% students getting placements.

Placements: Placements were just average in our college. Only 2-3 reputed recruiters offer decent salary packages, i.e., around 4-5 LPA. Other small companies offer only 2.5-3 LPA salary package. Many students are not interested in placements because they opt for higher studies. So only 5% of the students get placed.

Placements: There are only graduation courses like B.Sc, BA, BBA, etc., so there are no such placements available. You should do masters in a particular subject if you want a job. If you pursue masters from Sd college, then you'll also get a job in SD college. The minimum criteria are that students should score 50% marks in graduation to get admission in masters and should also score 50% in master to get a job after masters.
