Placements: There are no good placements for bachelors. As it is a degree college, no good companies visit. However, a few companies arrive for Masters students. The job profiles offered are not up to the mark, nor are the packages offered. Even for internships, no organisations visit the campus.
Placements: The placement of the college is not there. Every year 2-3 companies visit the college and they pick very less students. The package offered is also very less 2-2.5L. Moreover there is a bond for 2years. In short there are no placements of the college.
Placements: Placements of SD College are the best in Tricity. Almost 8 companies visited the campus so far like Jaro Institute of Management, eClerx, Amazon (customer care), Finvasia, ICICI Bank (Ascend programme). The highest salary package offered until now is 5.5 LPA, and it was offered to 2 students by Jaro. Many other companies like L&T are expected to visit the campus in the next month with improved salary packages. Finvasia offered a salary package of 2.5-2.8 LPA whereas eClerx offered a salary packa...
Placements: Since the course was Bachelors in Arts, no placements took place. College doesn't have a good placement cell. It just shows off. You have to struggle for your internships and jobs on your own. Faculty helps if asked, but no good companies visit the college.
Placements: The college is well-known for conducting placement drives. Companies like Wipro, Infosys and other foreign companies visit the campus to conduct recruitments. The manifesto of students election also consists of good placement opportunities. The college conducts various activities and events to improve students' CV by which the students get benefitted in placements. The college name is enough for the students of this college to get benefitted among other students studying in Punjab and Haryana.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Around 60% of the students get placed every year. About 40% of the students get internships from college. There is a placement cell in the college, and it is constantly working to provide different opportunities to suit different needs of students. It also conducts workshops and seminars.
Placements: I am still graduating, so I can't talk much about the placements. Unlike in engineering, streams offered here are more of higher study based rather than direct placements after college. However, the college provides good exposure for internships to students.
Placements: The college took no initiative in regard to placements, especially for the arts department. There were no visits by companies for psychology students. Though I didn't want to get placed at that time, it would have helped a lot if I gained knowledge about the placement processes like interviews and other things, which would have benefitted me a lot for a long time.
Placements: Placements in the college are not up to the mark. The placement cell needs to work more actively. Only 2-3 major recruiters visited the campus for placements offering around 4 lacs per annum packages. The rest of the small companies offered around 2-3 lacs per annum packages. Also, the profiles offered are not up to the mark.
Placements: Placements in the college are not up to the mark. The placement cell needs to be more active. Generally, 2-3 big recruiters visit the campus offering packages of 3 LPA to 4 lacs per annum. Moreover, profiles offered are not as per commerce graduates, and there are no on-campus internship opportunities.
Placements: Placements in our college are decent. Many reputed companies such as Ernst & Young visited the campus with a salary package of around 3-6 LPA. However, most of the students are not interested in placements. There are no on-campus internship opportunities.
Placements: Placements are fine at GGDSD college. The highest package offered is around 6 lacs per annum while the average is about 3-4 lacs per annum. The major recruiters are EY and L&T. The college does not offer any internships. The roles offered majorly include accounting profiles. Not many students take up the placement process as they are interested in higher studies.
Placements: Placement drives were organised during my time, but the companies were majorly looking to hire the students in BPO sector except for a few companies. Although, Google used to visit the college for placements and it used to hire a few students.
Placements: Placements for B.Sc non-medical are quite average. Not many companies come to the college for placements. The average package offered is about 3-4 lacs per annum. Moreover, many students did not attend the placement process since most of them were interested in higher studies.
Placements: Placements in the college are average. Very few companies visit the campus, but the companies that visit offer good salary packages. The major recruiters are Ernst & Young and Larsen & Toubro. Further, many students will not be appearing for placements, as most of them are preparing for MBA.
Placements: The non-developed companies conduct interviews and offer low packages. Placement cell takes the responsibility, but reputed companies are not interested in visiting the campus. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. There are no such fixed procedures for selection. Placement record of the college is very poor. I am not satisfied with the college regarding placements.
Placements: The placement cell in the college needs to be changed. Companies that are visiting the college for commerce students are not up to the mark, and the profiles they are offering are not suitable. Only one or two reputed companies are invited, and the rest of the companies are a bit regular ones. Regular packages which are offered to freshers are offered to the students who are placed.
Placements: Placements in the college are quite decent with 3-4 LPA packages. The major recruiters are L&T and E&Y, and besides these big recruiters, several other profiles are offered by various recruiters. The highest package was around 6 LPA. Not many students were placed, and one reason is that most of them are pursuing CA and don't attend the placement process. However, at the same time not many big companies are coming to the campus. About internships, no internships are being offered from the college...
Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities for the meritorious students but not for the average students. College atmosphere and campus is good for studying and other cultural activities. The college has a placement cell which organises a placement camp every year, and many companies visit the college to hire many students.
Placements: Placements of the college are average. There is an active placement cell in the college, but it is not very committed. Companies visit the college to hire the students of the B.Com courses but not for the students of our course. The placement cell is still in its budding stage. They are trying to push themselves to provide better placement opportunities in the future.
