Placements: Less placement opportunities for B.A. however they send emails for job opportunities after you pass out once in a while. B.A. is a very general course so you cannot expect employment right after B.A. Usually, students give other entrance exams or get into Masters after B.A. .

Placements: Placements at Goswami Ganesh Dutta SD College, Chandigarh, depend on students. Many big companies like Infosys, Wipro, Byju's, PWC, etc., visit every year for campus recruitment. The average salary package offered lies between 2.6 to 3.5 LPA. If students have a good CV, then they can definitely get placements at good MNCs.

Placements: Placements might be less than 25% in B.A. & in other courses, it could be about 25-50%. The course charges Rs. 16,000 yearly and Rs. 2000 as examination fee of 2000. Each semester may cost you around Rs. 35,000. Recruitment is by companies like Airtel, Bajaj Automobile, Bank of America, Bharti Axa Life Insurance, Tata, Cipla & many more. Placements: It is a top college in north India for BCA, and its rank in India today is 17. BCA admission is a centralised process, and the average salary package offered is 4-5 LPA. Most of the students pursue masters after doing BCA. The fee of BCA is about Rs. 20,000 per semester, which is quite good.

Placements: There are above 60 students in one section, and students will not get any placement or job after the B.Sc course. The college provides internships for students, but that is also not good because students get internships in E-commerce companies like kitchen products. Every student will not get paid internships.

Placements: It is quite a good college in comparison to other colleges in Chandigarh. This college is mainly known for its commerce department. So, I don't recommend you to join this college for the B.Sc course.

The average salary package offered was 3 LPA, while the highest salary package offered was up to 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. We have to submit our CVs in the 4th semester. Placements: Most of the students prefer to go for Master's degree so the placements in this course are not much. I don't know much about the placements in my batch. Most of my friends went for higher education while some started preparing for government exams. The placement cell is not much active.

Placements: Students can easily get admission in this college. But students should have the best percentage like above 85%, in maths and computers that adds to the weightage to our percentage. Placements are not good, and the placement rate is low.

For our course, the top recruiting companies are Verka Milk Ltd, Mother Dairy, Amul Pvt Ltd, Vita and many others. Top roles offered are as a manager in any food factory, food inspector, jobs in FSSAI or FDA.

Few small companies visit here for placements. Our college provides the best placements compared to other commerce colleges in Chandigarh.

Placements: I have heard that about 3-4 companies like Deloitte, ICICI Bank, etc., visit here for placements. They offer a salary package of around 2 LPA. Placements are provided for commerce students, but I don't have an idea about medical students. Even I haven't yet experienced the placements.

Placements: Placement is not that much good because there is no B.Tech in our college. But there are quite impressive placements for BCA and B.Com branches. We also sometimes consult our teachers for placements and for off campus placements. Basically it is a bit difficult to get a placement here.
