Placements: Our college offers great opportunities for placement and many companies are interested to offer job to students who study from our college. Last batch of our college got jobs before there degree was finished. Companies like Bajaj, Axis bank etc. Came to our college. Our college placement cell also perform it's job efficiently.
Placements: The placements are very bad as it is a semi-government college. There are no companies that are involved in good placements. The scope of placements is also not good. I don't know the reason why it became a number 1 college of PU. It is one of the best colleges for those who are not focused on their studies.
Placements: PGDMM placements need to be improved. There are no campus placements. Off-campus placements can fetch you 3 LPA to 4 LPA of an average package which can gradually be improved as you go ahead in your career. Also, the graduation course will impact your placements, like BBA and B.Com will fetch you better placements here.
Placements: The placements went well for the seniors with EY on the campus. For my batch, we only had a couple of startup's and coaching institutes coming for placements. The students have great potential, and the placements committee should work in improving the scenario on the campus.
Placements: The placements are not that much good, but yes if you are a good student, you can grab a job with a good package. Being a B.Com student, I didn't get any placement, but then few students had got a good one. Seniors are helpful and highest salary was Rs. 70,000 per month and the lowest being Rs. 30,000 per month.
Placements: Recently Infosys and other big companies visited our college for campus recruitment and they had taken the interviews at a high level. Numerous students were selected through campus recruitment last year. The highest salary was 20 LPA and the role was of management department head.
Placements: The placements in the college are good for B.Com, BBA, and other departments, but only a few opportunities for B.Sc. I hope they will improve the placements in future. The college is trying to improve the placements, and with time surely it will get better and I am sure students will grab big opportunities in the future.
Placements: The college provides one of the best courses as well as professional courses. The college also has honours courses. The placement is good, but not too good compared to other private colleges. The placement is though in last year, provides for the streams such as - B.A, BCA, BBA, B.Com, M.Com, B.Sc. etc.
Placements: The placement cell of SD college is not active. The placement rate is very low, i.e. it is 20-30% only. Students don't want to sit in placements because the packages offered here is very less, i.e., Rs. 1.5 LPA to Rs. 3.5 LPA. So, it's not worth sitting in placements having a PG degree.
Placements: The college is very good at placing students in the best companies and spends a lot on campus recruitment. Many companies recruit the students, especially from IT department. The college tries to maintain the results of students so that they get placed in good companies.
Placements: The placements of both last year and our batch were similar. The companies such as Ernst and Young and IBM came. The companies offered packages which varied from 1.8 to 3.25 lacs per annum. Only 5 percent of the total batch, however, got placed. The rest went for masters.
Placements: No company came for placement as there are no placements under my course. This course provides only theoretical knowledge, and no practical knowledge is provided. The college should work on giving practical knowledge to the students because nowadays practical knowledge is given more importance.
Placements: The placements are okay. I would like to rate it 6 out of 10. The companies like L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc., visited and they mainly look for communication skills related jobs or accounting related jobs. Stipend range differs from 10000 to 30000. The ratio of students getting placed remains low as students themselves are not interested in doing a job after graduation and want to pursue something for the professional degree.
Placements: The placements were average, and only a few students got placed. No students got the internship from the college, and just there was a project work in the university syllabus which was to be done under the guidance of the professors assigned to a group of students. This is a 1-year diploma course maybe that is why we did not have placements for this.
Placements: The placements from B.Com stream are quite low, and the companies only consider the post-graduation streams for placements. Even the students don't apply for placements as they pursue further studies. Only, selected students have placed anywhere. The placement cell needs a lot of improvement.
Placements: Placements were good in quality but not in quantity i.e. very few placements. Not many companies approached for graduates. But the placements done are in good places and positions. Placements lack overall and they need to be improved. More companies should approach so as to recruit students from this college.
Placements: Around 25-30% of the students were placed, 3-4 companies visited the college for the placements for our batch, and the same was the case with our senior batch. The minimum package offered was 2.5 Lacs per annum. Majorly, IT companies visited the college. Also, the students were informed and taken to the different placement fairs by the college for the off-campus placements.
Placements: There are not enough opportunities for placements. Most of the students have to get jobs on their own, while the rest may apply for higher education. The students get jobs of 3-4 lacs per annum on applying for jobs at an individual level, after BBA. So, this encourages students to opt for higher studies instead.
Placements: There are no placements for the psychology honours department, however, the placements for b.com batch are average wherein almost 50% students got placed in IBM, TCS, L&T, etc. in the 2016 batch. There are generally no internships either for our department and hence, no stipend offers.
Placements: No direct campus placements from my field. Many students do go for internships but on a very personal level. I do not feel the college quite helps in the process. I did two internships, six months each while in graduation. But those which I did on my own, my college didn't even provide attendance for the same and I really had to manage between both the things, classes and a job. I think the placement cell must invite companies and also give better exposure to their students. We need to empower y...
