Placements: During my two years at college, I've noticed a lack of placement opportunities, which I haven't heard much about from our college. Many of my seniors who have graduated also reported that they did not find placement options available to them through our college. As a result, I feel discouraged about the chances of securing a placement through our institution. I believe there should be some initiatives in place to connect students with companies, including options for those who may not be achievi...
Placements: There is no placement in the college for biotechnology students. If we want, then we have to apply off-campus. But if we want to apply off-campus, we can start with internships at research institutions so that we have more experience in our CVs before joining a job.
Placements: Placements in this college are very minimal. You have to apply for them by yourself. Only a few companies will give placements in B.Com or Arts. However, there are no placements in biotechnology. There's no placement in SD college. It is only a semi-government college.
Placements: There were hardly two placement available for Bachelor of business administration. The top recruiters were E&Y. The highest package given was 3.5 lacs per annum. Top roles offered were of business associates and field work as SD provides BBA in marketing only.
Placements: Banking, Taxation and various fields relating to accountancy and company law and various other fields pertaining to commerce and industry. There are wide variety of courses in commerce as commerce is the backbone of any business. You can be hired as an assistant with an audit firm.
Placements: Placements provided by the college are bad. Only 20-30% of the students get placed. The minimum salary offered ranges from Rs. 12,000-15,000 per month. The lowest salary offered ranges from 7,000-8,000 per month. The highest salary offered ranges from 20,000-25,000 per month. Our college does not provide an internship opportunity for students.
Placements: SD College is one of the most reputed colleges in India but I never felt lucky being a student of this college in terms of jobs and internships. Students look for internships and hunt for jobs on their own, college doesn't really play any big role. Although, you are encouraged from day 1 to look for internships and prove your worth.
Placements: Not many companies visit our college for B.A. (Hons.) in Economics course placements. Mostly the companies come for B.Com and M.Com. Deloitte, E&Y and Policy Bazaar are few companies which come and prefer B.Com students. The salary package offered is not very high. Only 2% of the students get placed here.
Placements: I don't have an actual idea about placements. It is a college which has a high focus on commerce, so in my opinion, it would lack in this department. I don't have any experience, neither I will be sitting for any interviews since I plan to study further.
Placements: Almost 800 students join the B.A course in our college. There are no prominent recruiting companies in our course. Hardly any internships are provided through the college. B.Com students get preference because of their background.
Placements: Placements in our college are not that good, and there is hardly any company which come for campus placements. Courses are good and informative in the field of commerce, but still, there are hardly any placements for the undergraduate courses in our college.
Placements: There were hardly any placements done. Also the companies invited were not top class. As it is a degree for graduation there were hardly any significant posts offered by the companies. The top most role offered was that of a customer executive. That also at an unsatisfactory pay.
Placements: There is no much value of the degree acquired through GGDSD College. Hardly there are any provisions of campus placement available in the college. People usually don't get placed right after their bachelor degree, and students usually opt for post-graduation degree in other universities to get placed.
Placements: About 60% of students from the senior batch were placed. The highest salary offered was 40 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 8 Lacs per annum. Bank of America, Dell, Infosys, NIIT, CIPLA, GOOGLE, IBM, RELIANCE, BAJAJ AUTOMOBILES, etc. visited the campus. There is a placement cell.
Placements: Placement cell and faculty members are very helpful here and provide their opinions and advice students to present themselves in the tests and PI. Every year, around 10-15 companies visit here and recruit the majority of the students. Branches like B.Com, B.A, B.Sc and for every stream, companies visit here for campus placements.
Placements: The placements offered by college are average. There is a placement cell in the college. But I feel that placements offered to B.Com or B.Sc. are more than other courses. However, there are only a few students who gets placed in a good company. There are many companies who visit the college including kotak mahindra, reliance technologies, airtel bharti, dell etc. No internships are offered by college.
Placements: B.Sc (non-medical) is not a technical degree. So, don't expect any campus placement. Also, no college faculty encourages to go for jobs based on only B.Sc. Commerce students who are studying B.Com and M.Com can expect campus placement. But it is not for B.Sc or any other degree.
Placements: The placements for my batch is not good because non of the company visited the campus. But as a whole, the placement committee is quite good, and the average package is Rs. 2.5 LPA for the Bachelors. All kind of roles is also provided to the students. But the placement committee here is very good. The faculty is also quite good. We are given various opportunities to pitch our ideas to the companies and contact them to come to our college. It is very useful because it helps us to get in contact w...
Placements: I haven't seen people getting offered good placements post their graduation. Most students take it as a stepping stone for the higher education. Most of the students focus more on CA while pursuing B.Com. I haven't seen much of internships being offered it's all students initiative. Placements are about average for the course. Till now I haven't seen good companies like Google, Microsoft or Facebook as average companies come here generally providing placement ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 50,00...
