M.A. Economics has strong placements, excellent faculty, and modern infrastructure.

Placements: As a current M.A. Economics student at Government College for Women, I have observed that around 75%-80% of students from our courses have been placed successfully. The highest package offered in recent years has been approximately INR 6 LPA, with the lowest at INR 2.5 LPA. On average, students have been offered packages around INR 3-4 LPA. Prominent recruiters include banks, NGOs, private firms such as HDFC bank RBI, and economic research institutes and consultancy firms providing opportunities. Popular roles include economic analyst, financial consultant, and research associate.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the M.A. Economics department at Government College for Women is well-maintained, with access to Wi-fi, spacious classrooms, and a well-stocked library that supports both course-related studies and research. Absolutely satisfied with the best faculty and top notch infrastructure.

Placements: At our university students essential gain the right to be placed in the last year or semester in their programme. Every year a number of private business and groups come to our campus to look for employment. Among them were Redbus, Unacademy, PW and so on. Approximately 53% were placed by these companies with excellent package last year. The yearly package average was 14 Lacs with Byju's and Unacademy, offering the highest at 25 Lacs. Soon I want to work as professor or teacher at any university. There are a lot of other plans as well, such as the ongoing entrance exam preparation.

Infrastructure: The facilities are first class with outstanding infrastructure that goes above the beyond expectation. There is no lodging offered by hostels. The laboratories are well-equipped with all the equipment and chemical needed for students. The library is adequate stocked with a large selection of publications. Furthermore, the classrooms are kept immaculately.

Faculty: The institution takes great satisfaction in having a knowledgeable and helpful professor who use efficient teaching techniques. With a reputation of excellence in M.A. programs, the university makes sure its graduates are equipped for successful jobs. Students routinely achieve academic achievements since the exams for the bi-annual semester are designed to be fairly manageable.
