Not completely satisfied because of administration staff and bad placements.

Placements: Around 20% of the IT (information technology) department students got placed only in 2021. The average package offered is 3.5 lacs per annum, but I don't know the highest and the lowest packages because, before 2021, there was almost no placement at all. The students get jobs on their own (off-campus). Only TCS is the top recruiter for our course. From IT, most of the students got internships on their own, not through our college. Roles like assistant software engineer, junior engineer, etc., ar...

Decent Government College for someone who can't afford expensive private colleges.

Placements: The training and placement officer tries a lot but owing to small batch size most companies invite the college for pool campusing only. The CSE and IT department have around 60 percent placement while the ceramic department has around 80 percent placement.

Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology (GCECT) is a good college.

Placements: Placements are good only for the students of the ceramic technology department. The placements of the CSE and IT departments are poor. Many companies like Amazon, CTS and TCS visited the college for placements. Almost 40% of the students were offered internships. There is a placement cell. Students of our senior batch were offered good placement opportunities. Overall, the college is good and well-maintained.

Review of a Government College (which isn't JU or BESU).

Placements: The placements were good for the first 2 rounds. Then we were referred to off campus recruitment events and mass recruitment events. The companies that came on campus were Wipro, Capgemini and Veda IIT. The average salary was 3lpa. There were internship offers but from my succeeding batch.

Worth the money, being a government college, but one has to make their own way for everything else.

Placements: Placements not at all good. Only 6 students placed this year in the forest slot of placements at Wipro technologies, compared to 19 last year and 31 the year before. Capgemini and Tech Mahindra have stopped visiting. For Ceramic Technology department placements have been very good year after year. The first few companies like Saint Gobain Glass offer a package as high as 7.5LPA. Internships are zero. A student has to search on their own for Internships. There is a placement cell on pen and paper...

Good for Computer Science students.

Placements: For IT and CSE departments, the placement scenario was not overwhelming but not bad either. The college participate in pool campus recruitment drives along with other government colleges. Usually around 50% of the students get placed during college placements. Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, IBM and TCS are some of the prominent recruiters. The highest package was around 4 LPA. These companies take students for entry level software engineering roles. Internship opportunities for CS and IT students we...

If you don't have enough money to take admission in a private college, only then you can opt for it.

Placements: I got placed in Wipro. Some students also got placed in companies like TCS, CTS, IBM, Yodlee, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs and Accenture. The overall placements for our batch were good. Around 60% of the students got placed through campus placements. The rest of the students got placed through off-campus placements.
