B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025
1.6
2Placements1Infrastructure2Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Not good infrastructure, and no placements yet for any batch.
Placements: According to my knowledge, no student has been placed yet. The college is under construction, so no company has offered any placements, and there is no internship from any company. I hope in the future some companies will come here and help the students build their future.
Infrastructure: As our college is not yet constructed, the facilities lag significantly. There are no labs for civil and mechanical engineering, no Wi-Fi in classrooms, which puts us way behind other colleges in terms of these facilities. There is no hostel yet, and medical facilities are poor. The ground is very small and only suitable for cricket, badminton, and volleyball, serving as a ground for all three sports.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and qualified, while others are not. The teaching quality is still good. The curriculum is not too effective, and getting internship opportunities to make students industry-ready is far off. Semester exams are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is 40.
Other: I was good in computer languages, so I chose CSE. Getting internships will likely enhance my skills. There have been no events, no fests, and no crowd.

The college is under construction so it will take time to get better.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities in this college. No company has ever come to this college. Internship are to be done by students by themselves and the college doesn't help in internships. Industrial trainings are provided by the college. There is no recruitment facility here.
Infrastructure: Hostel is under construction and labs have been constructed already. The college has a good library and drinking water is available. Practical work is also done and there is also delay in course completion. Semester exams take at least 7 months to complete. Buses are arranged by students themselves.
Faculty: Contractual teachers are very good and the permanent staff lacks in providing good education. Semester exams are made easy by contractual teachers. With the help of industrial training, students are becoming industry ready. Contractual teachers provide good study material.

B.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering - Batch of 2023

I am dissatisfied with the newly established engineering college.
Placements: Half of the students got jobs when they went from company to company and applied their resumes everywhere. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Top recruiters are hospitals. They need biomedical engineers The top role offered was biomedical engineer in the hospital.
Infrastructure: Our college was established in 2017. The construction is still being done in and around campus, which is in a mess. Our college has separate buildings for separate courses however with new branches coming yearly it had to manage. There was no hostel at that time. Students live in rented rooms that charge significant amounts of money, taking advantage of students' vulnerable situations. Indoor sports primarily consist of table tennis.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and quite knowledgeable. Cluster University recruits teachers for college. The major exams are quite difficult as the pattern of paper demands at least 80% syllabus should be studied by students. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Being a medical technology enthusiast, I found biomedical engineering quite good for what I wanted to do. The best thing about our course is that it is a mixture of biosciences and technology. The things to improve the course are advanced and updation of practical knowledge and good internships on time. There are hardly any events and fiesta during our time, I hardly can remember one. The connectivity is good. The road to college is busy and macadamized. The campus surroundings are the only thing which is above par in our college. The air is fresh. The surroundings are serene and beautiful. In extracurricular activities, some cricket and badminton tournaments are held during our time.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2022
3.2

It is the best college in Kashmir after NIT Srinagar.
Placements: No company has ever visited the campus since this college is new. In the future, there will be a very broad scope of placements. However, no student has ever been hired by a company. Very few colleges in Kashmir have placement cells, and there is no need to worry about that because the college administration will look into it positively in the future.
Infrastructure: A hostel is under construction. The library is full of books. Every kind of book is present there. Moreover, it is completely digital. The atmosphere of the library is quite calm. Students can learn very much. The canteen is also good. We can eat what we want to. Labs are well-equipped. The sports hall is well established. Table tennis, volleyball, cricket, and much more are played.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, especially the principal. They are very cooperative. In-depth knowledge of the subject is delivered. Exams are conducted in a fair manner. They complete the course on time.
Other: We can see a lush green forest that is very good for our mental health.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2020

I am completely dissatisfied with our college.
Placements: This college is newly established, so none of the companies visits here for the recruitment process. This course ruined my career. We get internships in companies like Airtel, BSNL, etc. Salary packages are not offered.
Infrastructure: As our college is newly established, rooms don't have basic facilities like electricity, etc. Neither there is Wi-Fi facility nor computer lab. However, the library is available but with limited books. There is no canteen, any medical facilities and sports. Our sports teacher come to our class and note the names of students who are interested in different sports and games, but our college principal doesn't allow any student to participate in them. It is normal graduation, and there are no laboratories, where we can perform experiments.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified, but their experience is not much enough for students to qualify in any exam. So, studying on our own will help us a lot. Students don't become knowledgeable. Teachers try their best to provide quality education, but due to lack of experience, they are not able to give their best, which could have benefited students.
Other: I chose civil engineering, as in our Jammu and Kashmir, it has more scope than other courses. Our college should have a proper infrastructure, hostel facility and other facilities like health, sports and laboratory. Events are not organised here, but we were provided with NSP scholarship.

Absolutely not worth it if you have money; choose other colleges.
Placements: 20% placement, with the highest salary ranging from 1.8 LPA to 10 LPA. Most companies were local, and when top companies visited, they selected only a few, typically 2 or 3. It's also a problem with the college that we are not industry-ready, which is why top companies don't visit frequently for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is not great; practicals are examined without being done. The hostel is average. I mean to say that the course is excellent, but we need practical knowledge too, and outdoor exposure is necessary, but it is hardly ever done here.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in class and also outside. Exams are conducted on time. The exams are tough because they come from outside mostly. The exams are mostly from the books prescribed in the syllabus. But I must say they are tough when compared to others.
Other: They could improve a lot if some student bodies were formed.
