The best college of Aurangabad.
Placements: 82 to 85% of the students were placed in my college in computer engineering. The highest package around is 18 LPA and the average package at our college is 5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, etc. 60 to 70 percent students got internships from our course and in different local companies .
Infrastructure: The facility and infrastructure available at Government engineering College of Aurangabad were decent. The Wi-Fi facility is not available in our hostel, labs and classrooms are very well maintained, and good infrastructure is provided in our college to students. The quality of the facility in my hostel is very good. The food are not available in hostel canteen; we have to join another mess from outside the college. Sports and game activities are very good at our college. There are different cricket grounds for students, a volleyball court, a basketball court, different badminton courts, and table tennis courts available in college.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is very good. All the teachers are well qualified and Ph.D. holders. The student-teacher interaction is very good. The teacher is very helpful and friendly with students, and the students didn't hesitate to ask any question to the teacher. Innova College course curriculum is updated because our college is an autonomous college. It is an autonomous college. The course curriculum is updated every 3 to 4 years. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that the students should be placed in industry. The semester examination are very difficult and past percentages depend on the percentage of toppers.
Other: I did choose the scores because of the high demand of computer engineering students. The best thing about my course is that it is very advanced and familiar with industrial requirements. It will fulfill all the industrial requirements that industry demands from the students. The event festival is conducted every year at our college. The connectivity of the college is very good. The college is situated in the middle of the city and the campus of our college is very green and natural.

Good infrastructure and nature with greenery everywhere.
Placements: Nice course, as mechanical engineering is a core branch. In my batch, there are a total of 63 students. Many companies come here, like Greaves Cotton Limited, and many of our college seniors have been placed with Adani Company. And college also takes extracurricular activities into account.
Infrastructure: Average facilities: there is a big field for cricket and football, as well as basketball, volleyball and kabaddi. The infrastructure is also good and everywhere there is greenery. Every class contains a projector and smart TV for explanation.
Faculty: Good teachers are helpful, give good guidance and help us. Exams are not that tough; the only the thing is that you have to pay attention in class and revise it at home. If you do this, I guarantee you will score more than 90% in each subject. And if you fail these, you can give a re-exam.

A college with good extracurricular activities.
Placements: Every year, about 50% of students get placed. This year, the number was lower due to the recession. The highest package in 2024 was 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Siemens, Adani, Tata Technologies, NVIDIA, Tech Mahindra and many more. Internships are to be researched by students. The roles offered are those of GET engineers, RND engineers and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a bit old so it can be renovated. The condition of hostels is also not very good. They are old, as mentioned earlier. Library services are good. Mess food is also not very good. Basically, the canteen services were stopped by 2023, now they may be resumed. Sports and other extracurricular activities are promoted.
Faculty: The teaching is done only up to the second year. Afterwards, the teaching is not done more often. You need to study the subjects on your own. The teaching qualities are good. The curriculum is a bit traditional, but it can be more practical. The semester exams are medium-to-hard. You need at least 40 marks to pass the subject.
Other: The college had a good reputation in the city. The curriculum is a bit traditional, but it can be more practical. The infrastructure is a bit old, but it can be renovated. Events are good here: the annual alumni meet is held every year; Antarang is a cultural event; the sports event known as Lakshay is held every year; and the technical event known as Wings is held every year.

Good placement, company visits college, good faculty.
Placements: 80 percent of students were placed this year. The average package for mechanical engineering is 6 LPA, while the highest package for CSE is 30 LPA from companies like Mahindra, ITC, Tesla, and Java. Around 67 to 70 percent of students got internships from my mechanical course. The top roles offered are related to mechanisms.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available for ₹1600, with Wi-Fi provided. All classrooms have access to a library with special study arrangements. The campus is well-maintained, and the hostel has water coolers, free Wi-Fi, fans, and clean rooms and toilets. Security for the girls' hostel is high, and sports and NSS clubs are available.
Faculty: The faculty are excellent. They guide students well and have high-quality knowledge, helping to improve our skills. End-semester exams have a high difficulty level, with 40 marks out of 100 necessary to pass. Exam paper checking is strict, and no cheating is allowed.

Best experience and many lessons are learned here. GECA is an emotion.
Placements: I was placed in the Auro system as an associate software engineer, and firstly, I was hired as an intern for 6 months. Over 80% of students in our class manage to get at least one offer letter. The college management is not good but the placement cell is very active. One student in our batch cleared a government exam. TCL, HCL, Infosys, TCS, IBM, Amazon, Flipkart and many other top companies are recruiting many students. Most companies hire us as interns first; later, after 6 months, we will get a full-time job and role.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is good, but it has become old over time, but maintenance is still done on a regular basis. No Wi-Fi, only internet is usable on computers. The library is very big, but MCA text books are not available sometimes. In the hostel, we have a water problem; they do not provide water. Mess food is of very poor quality. We have a big canteen but it has become old now.
Faculty: Top-class faculty and teachers who are the best in their field cleared many hard exams. But management is very poor, and we face many difficulties because of it. Our college is government-run and autonomous, and our curriculum covers in-depth concepts that are used by MNC companies. Semester exams are very hard, but ups and downs are part of college life, and we should enjoy every situation.

About 20 students secured internships, with software engineering being the top role.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi in classrooms and labs, but the library lacks Wi-Fi. Hostel rooms have LAN access, but there is no canteen facility. The rooms are not very clean but are acceptable for staying.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified but do not teach very well and are not familiar with new technologies. The course curriculum is relevant but follows an old pattern; self-study is recommended for deeper learning. Semester exams are easy, and most students pass without difficulty.

The college has a moderate academic schedule with 5-15 lectures per week, and the frequency of exams and tests is monthly. The teaching methodology focuses on textbook-based lectures and case study discussions. The college provides well-stocked research and reading resources, and there are guards and CCTV cameras present throughout the campus. The dress code is followed by both students and faculty, and the college has multiple sports grounds and coaching facilities. The college culture is supportive, and there is no language challenge on campus. However, students must follow the strict attendance policy and cannot leave the hostel premises without permission.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college is mixed. Some reviewers found the infrastructure to be good, while others had negative experiences.

Review 1 mentions that the recently built Classroom Complex is of high standard and the campus is well-maintained, with a bird garden providing a peaceful environment. Review 3 also notes that the college has a large classroom complex, modern computer labs and sports facilities such as a gym and basketball ground.

On the other hand, Review 2 states that the hostel building needs improvement and Review 4 notes that the quality of the hostel is not great. Additionally, Review 5 mentions that Wi-Fi is not available on campus and hostels and the laboratories are equipped with sufficient computers.

Overall, it seems that the college has some strengths in terms of its infrastructure, particularly in the areas of classroom and laboratory facilities, but there may be room for improvement in other areas such as hostel accommodations.

Summary: The infrastructure of the college is a mix of positive and negative aspects. While some facilities like the recently built Classroom Complex and sports facilities are well-regarded, other aspects like hostel accommodations need improvement.

Q:   How are hostel facilities at Government College of Engineering?

A:
Talking about the hostel, the college has three hostels out of which, two for boys and one for girls. Hostel A and Hostel C are for boys and Hostel B is for girls. Hostel A and B are in the college campus but C is out of the campus. The hostel facility is not enough for all boys but for girls seats are available. Hostel allotment is done based on your performance in college like CGPA. Hostel fees are very cheap like 1650/- per year. Yes, 1650/- for per year not per month. As a Government College it is very low because everyone can afford. Hostel infrastructure is not that good as compared to other government college hostels like COEP, SGGS Nanded, VJTI, etc.
