Faculty members are not useful. The placement cell makes efforts but doesn't provide results always.

Placements: Nearly about 80% of students were placed from our course. The average salary package offered is the best, which is 3.5 LPA. Very few companies exclusively visit GECA for placements. Most of the placements are conducted online, which are open to all students. Top recruiting companies here were TCS, L&T, Xoriant and Centiro. Internships were not provided by our college. The top role offered is a developer.

It is the best college for self-study and extracurricular activities.

Placements: I heard from our seniors that from our class, about 70% of the students got placed in TCS, Wipro, Siemens and some local companies related to the IT sector. Our course has somewhat less number of placements compared to CS and IT branches, which has 95% placements. However, the placement rate of our course is fine and like 70%-75%, which is good because many students choose M.Tech. I think they got admission to much better colleges like IIT Bombay and other IITs.

I am satisfied with the best overall facilities provided by the college.

Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. A top recruiting company that visit our campus for placements is TCS. About 78% of the students from our course got an internship. The college helps us in many courses to grow in the financial, business and corporate world in future life. It helps to be very progressive in that special and specific field in which we choose.

I am not happy with the placement opportunities and guidance, and hostel management is really bad.

Placements: The placements are average. Companies that come to our college are very few, and they don't offer good salary packages to even a good student. During my tenure, the placements were good, but the average salary was less than deserved. The lowest package offered was around 2.6 LPA, and the highest package was 6 LPA.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad.

Placements: Above 95% of students got placed. The average package offered is 3.5 LPA. 96% of students got internships. Focusing mainly on packages, I know the college is not much good. But it offers many free courses as it is a government college, and you will not feel much stress here.

If you want to choose between GECA and any other good private college, go for the private college.

Placements: There were 72 students in the electrical engineering 2020 batch, out of them, approximately 30 students were placed. Most of them were placed in IT companies. Core placements are very poor, and only 7-8 students got placed in core companies. The average package offered was 3.8 LPA.

It is my dream college, and it is a very good college for Marathawada region students.

Placements: The placements are good, and the education provided is very good. Students also focus on cultural and academic factors. It has a very good stadium and auditorium. Library facilities are good, and the mess food is good. Alumni students are very supportive.

Everything is absolutely awesome, just dissatisfied with average placements .

Placements: The placements in the college are not much impressive, civil branch does not have more 1 or 2 placements and electrical branch does not have more than 15 placements, mechanical and computer science and information technology branch has pretty good placements in this college. M.Tech in civil and electrical only can give you placements in good jobs. The internship is also not offered by college, you have to find internship by own, but company visits etc., are offered by college.

It is an average college with good infrastructure, but I am dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Top companies included Siemens, L&T, PGS, Lodha Group, Varroc, Forbes and company Ltd. The only problem was with the number of students who got placed in the company giving high salary packages, which were only around 35-40%. The highest salary package offered ranges from 2.4 LPA or 3 LPA.

It is the best college to have engineering life.

Placements: My course doesn't have many placements because most of the students opted for government jobs, so they prepare for it for 1 year. However, still, 50% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Siemens, Bajaj, Power Grid, Indian Oil, etc. About 60% of the students get internship opportunity in companies like Siemens, etc. Top roles offered here are power and maintenance eng...

I'm highly satisfied with my college life and curriculum activities as well.

Placements: Getting admission in the government college is itself tough, so students were very studious, and the batch was really great. Almost 80% of the students in our course were placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Siemens, Baush, TCS, and Wipro. Junior associate and project engineers are the roles offered to the students.

Placements: I'm 2018 passed out student. About 90% percent students were placed in 2017-18 from BE etc. Batch. The highest package at that time was 6LPA and the lowest was 2.9LPA. Some of the top recruiters include L&T, PGS, TCS, etc. No internships were provided during my tenure.

I am satisfied with good teaching quality, placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The average salary package offered is nearly about 3.5-4.5 LPA. TCH is the main recruiting company for our college. Nearly the placement is very well, and if you have guts, you can have a very high salary package as well. Reliance is also one of the main recruiting companies.

Placements: Overall placements of our college for this year is 80% for mechanical department. The highest package offered is about 6LPA. Total approximately 50 of 60 students got placed and the average package offered was about 3.8 LPA. Yes, there is a placement cell in our college. It gives all the information about the recruiters to the students. About 25-30 companies visited our college during the campus placement.

Placements: Major companies that visit for placements are TCS, Nvidia and Persistent. The college has 100% placement records for electronics, computer science and IT streams. It is difficult to get placed for civil and mechanical students. The average package offered was 3 LPA. Some other companies like Greaves Cotton also visit the campus.

Companies like Shapoorji Palonji, L&T, and TCS, etc., hire students from this institute. They achieve good placement records along with high salary packages for students. The training provided for placements is also good here.
