It's an average college, all good.

Placements: The placement of the college is average as it provides average placement to students. It also provides internships to the students. The highest package is a little bit average, but it's all good, and the college guides for placement and internship, and the faculty is supportive of that.

Review of Government College of Engineering Jalgoan.

Placements: The placements in the college are not that good. Only 4 to 5 students in your batch (class of 60) get placed that too on campus and pool campus. The college tries to get more placement records but fails to do so. The students struggle a lot here to get placed in this college.

College has satisfactory faculty and facilities.

Placements: At our college, all the students get placement opportunities. Around 50% of students get on-campus placements. The placement cell of the college was active and developed. Many companies, like HCL, OLA, Paytm, Wipro, Miraj, etc., visit our college for placements. The top roles offered in this course were those of developers.

I suggest that you not take admission to this college.

Placements: Only 30% of students were placed last year and the average package is only INR 3 LPA. No one got the internship from college. We have to do everything on our own during the internship process and even they did not give any holidays for internships or placements.

I was absolutely dissatisfied because of non cooperative student section faculty members.

Placements: There were no placements from our college. Students need to struggle on their own by visiting walk-in drives at other colleges. This college only took their photos of our offer letters for showing them on their website. In our 2014-2018 batch, 3 students got a salary of Rs.12000 per month which will give you in hand salary of Rs.9000 per month. It was terrible.

I am partially satisfied with my college and college facilities.

Placements: As I belonged to the computer engineering branch, the placement in our batch was almost 100%. Nearly every student from our batch got placed in one of the top MNCs. The average package offered to us was 3.5 LPA and the highest package was 7.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our course are TCS, Capgemini, Wipro and Infosys. Our college placement faculty members didn't help us in getting any kind of internship. The top roles offered in our course were software developer, senior analyst and gr...

Placements: Less than 5% of the students from Government College of Engineering got placed through on-campus placements. The highest salary package offered in on-campus placements ranging from 2 LPA to 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top companies don't visit our college for placements. Placements: Our college isn't that good, and there are no placements for the mechanical department. The highest salary package offered is 8-9 LPA. Nearly 3-4% of the students got an internship. Maybe in the upcoming years, placements would increase.
