Satisfied with the placement records in 2016. Good infrastructure but dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placements for the mechanical and the civil branch are good. The average package offered is around 5.6 lacs. IT branch has been ranked third after mechanical and civil. Companies like TCS offered good packages. As the college has been autonomous from the last two years, in the future, placement record will get better. The lowest package is 2.8 lacs from the mechanical branch. Until now, internship is not available but they have been making efforts since the last year. ...

I am satisfied with the industrial exposure, faculty support, and high-speed Wi-Fi connection.

Placements: Placement is slightly more than average. Students from software branches get more opportunities as compared to the others. As industrial demand is less, students have fewer opportunities but companies which come to our campus always recruit more than their requirement as they get overwhelming and fresh talent in GCE Karad.

Pioneer institute in western Maharashtra.

Placements: The placements of our senior batch were excellent. More than 85% students were placed in reputed MNCs with a decent CTC. Various MNCs like Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, Jade Global, Persistent and many more visit our campus. The average stipend offered was 3.6 LPA.

Fair placement for 2016 batch. Satisfied because of principal's management.

Placements: In our batch, the placement was majorly in IT companies. Cognizant, Wipro- these companies were for all. For mechanical students, there were different companies like Bajaj, Fiat, etc. Some pool campus rounds were also held outside our campus for various IT companies.

They only want marks & attendance. They do not let us participate other extracurricular activities

Placements: The placement record of college is getting really bad day by day As Cognizant stopped picking students, but other companies are responding well. Nearly 60 to 70% students definitely get a job somewhere and the college is trying really hard to improve. They have appointed Globerena for improving communication skills of the student. But the college is taking academics very seriously and lagging in other extracurricular activities.

Really good infrastructure but placement should be good too.

Placements: Companies like Wipro, Cognizant, etc. had visited our college. Nearly 50 students were placed in Cognizant and 6 in others. 30 were placed in Wipro. The package offered was Rs. 22000 pm by Cognizant. Placement was good for our batch. The highest salary offered was Rs. 6 lacs PA and the lowest was 3 lacs PA.

Satisfied with good placement in 2016 and values I received from my college.

Placements: Companies like Wipro, Cognizant Technology, Persistent, Jade Global visited our college. About 29 students of our class and overall 95 students from our college got selected in different companies in 2016. Our college gave us training from Globarena company before placement opportunity to improve our interview skills. I got selected in 2 companies in the campus.

GCE Karad- A prestigious college undergoing lots of improvements.

Placements: Placements were in large numbers during our first year of the degree. With the shift of technology, the traditional placement count changed for each branch. Core companies visited fewer times in our academic era. We had only software companies for us paying an average salary amount of INR 3,00,000.

Good college, good helpful faculty, great placements in 2016 and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements here is good. In our batch, almost all students were selected in at least one company on-campus and off-campus too. The TPO staff team is co-operative and motivating. Mainly IT companies visit the college like Cognizant and Wipro. For mechanical students, core companies also visit like Bajaj, Ford etc.

The best government college with good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placement is very good. In case, if you are having the minimum criteria required for a company outside the campus, the same would be applied here as well. Being an autonomous institute, it is well-recognised by the industry. As per the industry norms, students also get a chance of internship in various industries.

Nice college with good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The college was popular for its placements in civil engineering at our admission time, but it has declined in the recent years. For our department, only IT companies visit and no core companies. Core branch (mechanical, civil, electrical) students might get some chances of getting placed in core companies. Placement is average with a median salary of 3 lakhs.

Good college with average placements.

Placements: The placement scenario for our batch(2016) was decent. Over 80% students got placed in companies like Wipro, Cognizant, L&T Infotech, etc. You can expect an average salary of 3-4 lakhs but most of the companies which visit are IT companies and the chances of getting a core company is very less. The placement scenario vary each year.

Absolutely perfect from economical as well as study point of view.

Placements: The college provides good placement for E&TC branch. Cognizant hired 120 students from all the branches last year. For mechanical, L&T and Bosch are coming. 70% eligible students got placed in IT and in mechanical, 40 out of 66 students are placed. Companies that are visiting the college for recruitment are Cognizant, Wipro, Thermal, Tech Mahindra, Bosch and L&T.

It is one of the reputed government autonomous colleges in Maharashtra. Being a 1960 institute, it has a large alumni network. Infrastructure is average as it is a government institute. Faculty is really good and helping. Due to its location, students from metro or semi metro cities may find it difficult to relocate and adapt with the environment but is manageable. Placements are good here as many core companies and IT service based companies visit this college every year. Overall, it is a good ...

It’s adjacent to main road and 5 km away from the town. The labs are good and college provides bus service for the students and day scholars for transportation.

Packages are around 2-4 lacs per annum well facilitated labs of almost every department concerned civil engg department gets the largest chunk of placement... The placement for E&tc and IT branch should improve. The laboratories needs to be improved. Very Nice Infrastructure, faculty members are helpful. Huge campus, facilities provided are also great.
