Review of Government College of Engineering, Srirangam.
Placements: Less than 20% of students got placed in our college. An embedded system company has been approaching. IT companies visit our college to recruit students. The highest salary package is 4.8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college was constructed in 2013. They provide labs to all departments like civil, mechanical, EEE, ECE, and CSE. Our college has Wi-Fi, a library, etc. The hostel is good. The food served in the hostel is average. They provide sports facilities. The canteen is not available in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not relevant. Semester exams are not very difficult. Important topics are asked in exams. More than 80% of students pass the exams.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. They should conduct more practical sessions.

This college is known for its fee structure where you can finish the entire course within 1.5 years.
Placements: Only 2 or 3 students out of 60 are getting placed, and the companies that walk in are mostly ITs. The highest package was INR 4.8 LPA, and the lowest was INR 4.2 LPA. No company is core-based. They are mostly embedded systems and C-based. Our college gave me the opportunity to intern at NSIC, Chennai.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for students, which is a big blow for us. The labs are pretty good; they have all the equipment, and the library has pretty much everything. Name whatever you want to prepare for; they have the material, and the library has a peaceful environment.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers here are well qualified, but the thing is, in a government college, they mostly won't take many classes. If you are interested in any subject, you've got to put in the work. The pass percentage is high. We can get placed in companies if we listen to classes and understand them.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Srirangam.
Placements: In my department, 260 students are studying here. There are many more offers, and scholarships are provided. Many recruiting companies come for my course. 40% of students got internships from some companies, and the internships are very useful to middle-class students.
Infrastructure: In my department, all the rooms have fans, desks, and projectors. All the rooms have LAN fiber. The department library is available at any time. In my hostel, the quality of food is good. A canteen is available in the afternoon. All sports are played on campus.
Faculty: Our respectable faculty are good and help many students. The teaching quality is good. They are well-qualified. In our department, one of the faculty got a government job at 26, and he is a very talented person. In my batch, we didn't write offline semester exams, so the semester exams are very difficult for me.
Other: In the electrical field, there are many job offers in core companies and government sector.

In our college placement is only disadvantage otherwise my college is good.

In our college all the students are go to internship to NSIC. Mostly low level job are like a junior engineer.
Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure are available in our college like wi-fi, labs, classrooms, library. In our hostal food is average but it is worth to pay and medical facilities are good and sports and games are good and all games are available in our college.
Faculty: Yes our class teacher are help all kinds of help teaching and other kinds of help of help also. Yes our course curriculum relevant and it make the students industry ready. It is all college exams all easy to pass. Almost all the students are passed in our class.
Other: I like electrical things. I think electronic is lead the world. I want learn more about electrical things in practical. Events in our college are symposium, sports day, workshop, scholarship.
