It is worth the money, but you have to study by yourself as no teacher will help you.

Placements: We don't have placements in our college, and as a result, only a very few students are placed. Though some branches have placements, very less number of students get placed. We go for open placements generally. No company visits our college for hiring the students. Overall, there are no placements in our college.

Teaching is good, but the facilities must be improved.

Placements: A few companies visited the college for EEE students. Only 1-2% of the students were placed. Only local companies offer placements, and they choose only 3 to 4 students. The college doesn't invite any company for placements. The management must look after it so that we can improve our skills for placements.

Brief description of GEC BILASPUR.

Placements: There is nothing like placement in this college. Last 2 years, 1 alumni company visiting where only a few (3 from each branch ) is allowed for interview and they offer a package of 3-4 Lacs per annum. New and permanent teachers joined the college last year and took our training and placement department, so in 3-4 years maybe some companies will come.

Absolutely dissatisfied with CSE faculty members. We don't have nominal placements from here.

Placements: There is no such thing called placements in this college not even the toppers. We all aspire to crack GATE and take drops. The faculty of the civil branch is good here except that no other branch has proper faculty members student section is literally very slow working.

Government Engineering College, Bilaspur placements.

Placements: There are changes of placement up to 10 LPA in the college. By taking the electrical, mechanical, or civil branch, the probability of placements is lesser. In computer science or information technology branch, there are enough teachers for teaching. The atmosphere is also good there.

The name of college is good, but not performance.

Placements: In the final-year, very few companies have arrived at our college. So the criteria for the percentage of placed students are negligible. Few placed The students get around 2-3 Lacs per annum in the past, and present. History is very different from our college with time, the college authority doesn't change or progress in different fields so we don't get placement.

My college and the administration.

Placements: This is a government college. Obviously, there is much probability for us, but no one working in the placement sector. Our college administration as well our government, neither works in this field. My seniors and all juniors just preparing for GATE because placement sector is not available.

Best to get recognition, average for knowledge and worst for placements.

Placements: There are no placements at all. No companies visited the college campus. All you have to do is to appear in open campus in private colleges nearby and face partiality. The employee working in placement cell was himself a contract based employee and gave the least importance in placements and inviting companies. I'm not clear about current scenario but since it is a government college things won't change easily.

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Only 5-6% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. A top recruiting company that visit our campus for placements is Tata Consultancy services. A top role offered to the students is a manager. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. Onl...

Review of Government Engineering College, Bilaspur.

Placements: The placements, till date, are average. Serious measures are needed to be taken to increase the opportunities. The recent campus drive held was very poor. Students couldn't get placed due to poor opportunities.

It is an average college, but infrastructure and management are not good, but teachers are good.

Placements: In this college, very few students were placed. There were no placements cells in this college. Though a top had been appointed still it needs a lot of improvement. Maximum students were placed due to the campus pool conducted in other colleges, because of their talent. This college had a little role to play.

I am satisfied regarding faculty but dissatisfied with facilities and placements.

Placements: There are less placements in mechanical and civil but high in CS and IT. For 2 years, companies have started recruiting students from our college. From the last 50 years, there have been no placements at all. CS branch students have got 2 to 3 placements, and even they got them with low salary packages.

I am satisfied with this college but need more placements.

Placements: Placements at our college were not very good. Only some companies visit our college which was not well established. The companies that were recently opened or the companies that were not well-known visit to hire students.

It does not provide placements and the infrastructure is not good.

Placements: Around 1-2% of students were selected in campus selection. Only 2-3 companies visit for campus placements. Placements head doesn't invite more companies for campus placements. Students go to other colleges for open campus placements. Overall there were no placements.

I am dissatisfied because of some facilities and lack of campus placements.

Placements: Only a few companies visit the campus every year for campus selection, and only a few students got selected in that companies. The lowest salary is offered to students who got selected in that company, and there is no internship available in our college. There is no placement cell available.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: We don't have placements. No companies come here. We try for open placements in other colleges. The college being a government one, there is no scope for placements. The situation is the same for the other government colleges in Chhattisgarh. Students of private colleges get placed every year.

It's a pretty decent college if you are broke with money and only have to get a degree.

Placements: There are rare cases of placements direct from our colleges. It has been a big issue for a long time. The state government colleges do lack campus selection. Graduating from a state government college is an option only for those who can find a job on their own and the one who has real talent and consistency in their work.
