Review of Government Engineering College (ECB, Bikaner).

Placements: Placements were not much good at that time, but we were invited to attend pool campus drives, and that was an opportunity for us to get placed. Around 20% of students were placed from college through the placement cell, and later, all the students were placed in government or private companies within a year. The lowest package offered was around 3.6 LPA, and the highest package was 6 LPA in 2017. Companies like TCS, HCL, Confluxsys, Ranosys, and others were a part of recruitment. Internships wer...

It is an average college which doesn't waste your time.

Placements: Only very few students are able to grab placements and internships. Mostly, IT companies are visiting the college. Placements are very poor or negligible here. Anyone who is concerned about getting placed through campus placements should not take admission.

You can choose other colleges better than ECB.

Placements: Campus placements are very poor here. I secured 72% aggregate in my engineering, but I didn't get placed because, in 2019, Carn Energy visited our college, but it had put some so-called eligibility criterion to attend placements. They selected students based on 10th and 12th class academic percentage but not on graduate percentage. So, I only denied a chance of placement. But there were some other friends who didn't even get a chance to attend interviews.

Infrastructure Wi-Fi and all the things are good.

Placements: Approximately 60% of students are placed but the placement depends on the knowledge of candidates. Profiles in data science and artificial intelligence are available, which is the most important in the time of data. But at that time many company offers off campus job which is very beneficial for students.

I am satisfied with the faculty members but dissatisfied with low-level placements offered.

Placements: I am a 2nd-year student of computer science and engineering. Placements are just average in our college but better than all other government colleges in Rajasthan. If you are in CS branch, and you don't have any backlog in all your semesters, then you will surely get good placements.

Placements: I am a 2nd-year student of B.Tech in CSE in this college. Placements in B.Tech and BBA branches are moderate. Every year the average salary package offered is 4 LPA and above.
