Overall, it is good among other government colleges. In 2018, BTU will take over both colleges.

Placements: The job fair is held every year in the society of engineering college, Bikaner. Around 10 to 20 student are placed every year in low-level companies, and 2 or 3 are placed in good companies. Most of the students go to other government colleges for placements. Colleges and job fair of companies. One of the students also got placed in China. He is not placed through the college, and he went outside for the interview. Only a few second or third class companies visit the college job fair.

College is raising its standard.

Placements: This college has now become university and so the scenario here is changing drastically and unlike past now many good and big MNC are coming here to provide placement facility. Now it is up to the student how they can impress them with their skill. Though college still lacks academic performance and students are not taught much skills to tackle these tricky interviewers. So good student with some skill under his belt can grab a package of minimum 6-7 LPA. Some top companies visiting here are ama...

The best college for an engineering student.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. Students opt to work in the government sector or prepare for civil services. The students who pass all the exams conducted during placements are selected. The remaining students prepare for GATE exam to pursue higher studies like M.Tech, MBA, etc.

Placements: In short don't hope for placement here. Civil have strength 63 in each year. So I think 1 or 2 person gets selected in company. But here company also don't come. Rarely they come but take other branches like Mechanical, electronics and computer Science. The companies which comes gives poor placement. So it's worthless to go with that company So overall No placement is there for civil. If you will ask any senior for placement in civil, they will make joke of you So the only option is to crack GAT...

Government Engineering College Bikaner is good and affordable state government college in Rajasthan.

Placements: In Government Engineering College, Bikaner, the students are quite innovative which help them in getting placed in good firms and companies, but from the past year's placement in this college is getting reduced to 60%. Recently in the electrical branch, two girls got placed in Vedanta group resources (Rain) that is very nice and more placements are done in mechanical branch and CS also. The companies like TCS, Honda had used to come for campus placement, and also army placement chances have incr...

Extraordinary faculty are there in the college.

Placements: The placements of ECB are average as few companies visit the college. For mechanical engineers mostly Honda, Carin energy and some more companies visits and offer job to students. The packages offered by companies to students are around 3 LPA to 8 LPA.

The college has good infrastructure and everything.

Placements: The placements are average about 50%-60%. Mostly, TCS takes the students, and a few core companies visit the campus. But you get much to learn from here. Every year, the companies keep changing. Last year, Honda visited the campus, but not this year. This year, we heard Cane India is coming to the college.

Completely satisfied with the faculty, Infrastructure and the facilities provided here.

Placements: The placement rate is not very good. Barely 10% of the students got placed here and that too from the computer science and electronics stream. There is no placement here, for the core branches like electrical, mechanical and civil. The average salary offered during the placement depends upon the overall skills of the students. Also, the maximum salary offered is Rs. 15 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure, Faculty are in good condition. The placement ratio is not so better from last 5 yer.

Placements: The college provides a place for the students for their campus placement. Every year many companies visit the college for placement, and about 10 of 100 students are placed in many companies. The highest placement package from the college is about 15 LPA, and the average package is of 4 LPA.

Good college with nice environment and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements offered are average. Some companies are bonded to recruit the employees from our college. Approximately 10 to 15 students were placed every year from each branch. According to my point of view, the placement from this college is average except civil engineering branch.

A college of dreams. You have to explore yourself.

Placements: The placements are not good enough, but if you have the will to learn, then you can get placed as it is a government college and may become a university in the upcoming years too. The placements have companies mainly as TCS and Infosys. There are multinational companies also. So, you can get placed if you want to go.

Good infrastructure but no job opportunities.

Placements: The placements offered were not good, and most of the students took off-campus placements. On campus, the companies like TCS, Cognizant, and L&T visited but the average package offered was 3.3 LPA. The role of the software engineer was offered. The placement cell was not at all helpful in the process.

Satisfied with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements of this college are not good. Only 2 to 5% students are placed every year, and only 0.5% get a good package. In my branch, i.e. civil engineering, placement is zero. None of my batchmates or my seniors were placed after I got admission here, so the placements are low.

Satisfied with the college. In fact, it's now a university.

Placements: The placements at ECB are very good. The students who maintain good marks can achieve placement easily. There are many other activities like a fest, culture program, tours and many more. The placements in mechanical are very good. They get almost 20-25 students placed per year and they get good packages (like 15-20 lacs per year).

The best college in Bikaner with a good environment

Placements: Placements are for talented ones. 2-3 companies come regularly. Especially for mechanical, there are more chances of placements. Most of the deserved students got placed surely from the campus. Also, there are 2-3 campus placement halls. In the year 2008, the whole mechanical batch was got placed from this college which was equivalent to MNIT Jaipur.

Dissatisfied because of placements in 2016.

Placements: Several companies such as TCS, Cairn India, Honda, Ericsson and many local companies also visited. IT companies offer 3.3 lakhs per annum and companies like Cairn offer 6+ lakhs per annum but the number of recruitments is too low. Nearly 55 candidates were selected in TCS and 1 in Cairn Energy. Around 20 percent were placed in my batch.

One of the colleges increasing the number of unemployed engineers.

Placements: The reputation of the college plays an important role in the placement opportunities. But our college doesn't have much placement opportunity. The most popular name of the company that visits our college for placement is TCS which selected around 20 people in 2015 batch and 40 people in 2016 batch. Other than this Wipro selected 10 students. Yodlee, Renosys, Kern energy, etc. are some more names that offer placement but only to 7-8 students combined. Wipro offered the role of the project enginee...

Good experience, good placements in 2016.

Placements: Only 2-3 companies visited the college for placement. The college was invited to many places for the placement and the students were notified about this. The person who meets the eligibility criteria can participate in the placement happening outside, to which the college was invited.

In total, good college to take admission because of good campus facilities and placement.

Placements: Placement was good last year for seniors. But this year there is a drop in the number of placements. If you are from a core branch then there is a higher chance of getting placed. Various arrangements have been done to enhance the number of placements and I hope it will definitely work in the nearby future. Various classes for providing knowledge on how to tackle any interview or any exam are also starting. The location of the college and the developing industries will no doubt help the future s...
