B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

The Amazing Experience by Me in College.
Placements: More than 80 percent of selected students selected the mechanical engineering course, which I pursue. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the average package offered is 5 LPA. 100 percent of students got internships in this course. The top role offered by us is Training Engineering.
Infrastructure: It's an amazing experience because the weather of the college is nice, and the campus has huge infrastructure with good Wi-Fi net speed. Every semester has a sports week with good food from meets, and the canteen facilities of the hostel are also good, with 24-hour water and cleaning.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and highly qualified, with Ph.D. professors. The teaching quality was nice, and students are ready for Industry 4.0, with gap filling between us and the industry. If you attend regular classes and complete assessments, that will help for the exam.

Good faculty and course.
Placements: In my course, 80% of students were placed. The highest package was 8 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Tatvasoft, Argusoft, and Bacency. 100% of students in my course got internships in various companies. The software developer role was offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good at this college because it was clean and well maintained. Each room had a personal bed, 24x7 water supply, electricity, wifi, and a library. The college has a canteen but no mess. I found the facilities to be adequate for my needs.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and they clear our doubts. We were provided with PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, and notes for revision. We were also provided with test series and study materials to read at exam times. The labs are good, and we did all the practicals to understand the concepts more easily.
Other: I chose this course because I like to code. I wish I had learned AI and ML from the beginning. Also, I would have liked to have had a hackathon.

Not disappointed by the faculty but a bit disappointed in placement and internship facilities.
Placements: The highest package is said to be 6 LPA, and the average package is 2.3 LPA. The internship facilities are not refined here. One can get a job as a software engineer or an IT manager at some tech firm if they have maintained a good academic score.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is not that good. Wi-Fi is very poor. The classrooms are not properly managed; though some classes are quite good, most of them require renovation. The college ground is uneven, and some classes need to be aggressively swept.
Faculty: The faculty here are qualified, very helpful, and knowledgeable. But the course curriculum is irrelevant; to be honest, it doesn't make students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite precise. The exams are good, but the exam structure is quite miserable.
Other: I chose computer science because I have had an interest in the intricacies of computer operations since childhood. If the course primarily focused on improving the coding skills and competitive programming of students, then it would be the cherry on top.

COOL AND GOOD ENVIRONMENT
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my courses is 40 to 45 % . My course average package is Rs. 3.5l per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Adani , Tatva SoftExtra . Our course total students are 150; in there, 30 to 50 will get the internship. The course covers software engineering, junior engineering, embedded systems, VLSI, and several other related fields. The top roles of my course are Embedded and VLSI design.
Infrastructure: GEC Gandhinagar is running a total of 5 courses: EC , IT , IC , CE , ME . The GEC Gandhinagar infrastructure is good and cool. GEC Gandhinagar has separate hostels for boys and girls with comfortable accommodations. A well-stocked central library with thousands of books , magazines, and journals. Facilities for sports like table tennis, a playground, and more. High-speed internet across the campus.
Faculty: Students at GEC Gandhinagar generally report that the faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Many professors have advanced degrees and extensive experience , both academically and professionally. Teaching quality is often praised , with professors incorporating a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical applications in their sessions.
Other: Best things about GEC Gandhinagar are the practical experience, hands-on labs, and projects that really cement the theoretical knowledge. Qualified faculty, innovative environment . GEC Gandhinagar areas for improvement are the updated lab ,soft skill training , more workshops. GEC Gandhinagar events are the technical fests , cultural fest , clubs, and scientific , merit-based scholarships , sports, and fitness.

Environmentally friendly surroundings. Faculties are helpful and humble.
Placements: In our college, the placement cell is nearly 80%, which is good enough. Every year, IT companies like TCS, InfoCity, and IBM, and many students get jobs. The average package for a job is 6 lakh per annum, which is good. Some students are getting jobs in Google. Seniors are friendly and help juniors in lab work.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is very good, and also very clean and has a big campus. Our college campus is very environment friendly and has positive vibes to spend time. Our college canteen is very good and we like to spend free time in it. College's library is also very good and peaceful.
Faculty: Our college's faculty is very humble and helpful to students. They give advice and suggestions in career and job placements. They also suggest new applications related to our course. The exam system is also good and strict, which is good for students. The curriculum system is also good.
Other: I have been interested in IT courses since childhood. This college offers very good IT courses and job placements for IT, cyber security, etc. Our college organizes many events like hackathons, Google Cyber Program, etc. Also, the faculties help students to fill out different scholarship forms.

Absolutely great infrastructure.
Placements: There are almost 50% student of our branch are placed. The highest package was around 7.5lpa and average package was 3.6 LPA. There is company called Tatva soft take 8 to 10 students. TOP role that offered in our computer Engineering branch is software developed.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure of GEC, Gandhinagar College And also Hostel. All the classroom is very good but for lab I will give 3 out of 5. Wi-Fi connection availability is very poor. And for library I will give 5 out of 5. and canteen food is quite good sometimes.
Faculty: All teachers have good knowledge in there subject and teachers have great qualification and cource curriculum is medium relevant to placement. The difficult of the semester exam is medium. The passes percentage of our branch is 90% include all the students.
