Dissatisfied because of infrastructure, not having good placement.

Placements: In computer engineering, the 2024 batch is getting placement in something like 50 percent. I think the highest package of GECR is 8 Lacs, and the average package is 4 Lacs. In our college, top companies like TCS, Tatvasoft, etc., visit. Not all students are getting internships, so this is not good for this college.

Review of Government Engineering College, Rajkot.

Placements: Placements are a mixed bag. If students are from computer engineering department, then they have good shot at getting placed. Companies like TatvaSoft, Synoverge Technologies, and Acty System visit our campus for recruitment. The average salary package offered is around 3.25 LPA. However, if students are from other departments, like civil engineering, the placement scene is not as rosy.

Review about GEC Rajkot.

Placements: There is no placement record for BE Robotics and Automation at GEC Rajkot. This is a new branch, and there is less interest among students in this field. Some companies that do offer placements here include TCS, Mahindra, Adani group, and Reliance. The average package for other branches is around 4-5 lakhs per annum.

About My College: For Helping Out Strangers.

Placements: Around 65 to 70% students were placed. The average package is around 4 Lacs per annum, the highest is 8 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is 1.5 Lacs per annum. Overall, good placement. I like everything about GECR placement. Here there is also a training and placement cell. Faculty help during the placements.

Honest review for Government Engineering College, Rajkot.

Placements: In our college, 30% of students get placement by the placement cell. In our college, only 3 to 4 students get an 8 Lacs per annum salary, others get 3 Lacs or less salary. Tatva Software is the best company that recruits our students, and most of the students are required in computer engineering or artificial intelligence. Top roles open in our course are software development engineers.

Dissatisfied with placement and management.

Placements: 35 out of 150 students in the computer department were placed. There are mainly service-based companies or startups coming for placement, such as Tatvasoft, Sinform, Gateway, Weboccult, etc., which are mainly from Ahmedabad or Rajkot. For other branches, Adani, TATA, and Reliance also come. The highest package in 2024 was 7.5 LPA from the computer, mechanical, and electrical departments, and the average package goes around 2 to 3 LPA. Roughly 40-50% were placed last year.
