Dissatisfied because of infrastructure, not having good placement.

Faculty: Some of the faculty do not provide complete guidelines for us to understand. However, there are some teachers that we prefer. In GECR, teaching quality is average. Our college has mid-sem exams in the middle of the semester, which are not as hard as university exams. There are marks of 30, so we can qualify for 12 marks.

Review of Government Engineering College, Rajkot.

Faculty: Faculty members are one of the highlights of this college. They are supportive, qualified, and always willing to blend a hand. Classes are regular, and they make sure students are prepared for exams. They are also super helpful when it comes to placements and other activities. Semester exams are not difficult if you have studied well.

Review about GEC Rajkot.

Faculty: The teachers at this college are qualified, but they go through the syllabus too fast. The difficulty of the semester exams is average, as they are set by Gujarat Technical University. On the plus side, there is no compulsory 75% attendance requirement.

About My College: For Helping Out Strangers.

Faculty: Teachers are really gems. They were very helpful at each and every stage of your career. They always hope for your good, and for that, they gave their best. Course offerings here were computer engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, etc. Courses are up to date as per the latest technology and trends.

Honest review for Government Engineering College, Rajkot.

Faculty: Most of our teachers are not helpful, but they all are knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are good. Our course curriculum is not relevant because our university gives a six-month curriculum, but our college only has three months of study. Our college has two types of exams, one for the mid-exam and the other for the university-level exam. The mid-exam difficulty is moderate, but the university-level exam is quite difficult. You have to clear all subjects for a passing mark.

Dissatisfied with placement and management.

Faculty: The teachers have good knowledge, but they are poor in teaching. They are highly qualified and have good knowledge in their field. Teaching quality is poor. The course curriculum is not that much relevant. Obviously, this course does not make students industry-ready; they need to focus on skills. Semester exams are not that difficult; if you prepare during the reading vacation, you can get very good marks. The passing criteria for semester exams is 23 marks out of 70.

BEAT Review for my college.

Faculty: Many faculty members are helping in my journey as a Computer Engineering student at GEC Rajkot. The teaching quality at my college is very good. The semester examination difficulty level is average. The passing mark in the final examination is 23 out of 70 marks. Our college, GECR, is under GTU.

College was value for money with good faculty.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and classes are never missed. Teachers are well qualified, including knowledge and experience. Teachers really support students, including knowledge and placement activities. The course curriculum is relevant, and it has changed this year. According to the syllabus, yes, the curriculum makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that hard in college if you study well and take care of your personal aptitude.

College in brief and placement details.

Faculty: The faculty for CE are good. Most are good teachers and happy to help. Just don't tease them and they don't tease you back. Semester exams are easy if you study 1 day before and you are an average student. It's an easy pass. Not to say there are easy questions but never felt hard to pass if you want to score well, then study well. The passing exam is easy. Exam of midterm is 30 marks in total; obtain 12 to pass and end-term exam is 70- marks university exam.

I have already reviewed and mentioned how our college is good.

Faculty: Our teachers are educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Our college prepares students for the industry. Our students will pass our department's core subjects but may not pass the other department's subjects; 65% of students pass in our college.

Reasons to avoid GEC, Rajkot.

Faculty: Professors are not helpful at all. No doubt they are GPSC qualified teachers but their teaching quality is bad. They behave very badly with the students and are aggressive. They do not support the students in extra curricular activities. The course curriculum is not relevant at all. It feels like we are in a government offices while trying to get our paper works done. The course doesnā€™t make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not difficult at all. 90% students pass the exam on their...

Don't join a government engineering college unless you are a day scholar.

Faculty: Professors are not helpful at all because they are government officials, excluding some professors. They call themselves GPSC-qualified faculty members, but they don't know how to teach students. They are not knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is very bad, so students study on their own. This course curriculum is not relevant; it does not prepare students to be industry-ready because what they want is attendance. They don't support extracurricular activities. There are two main semester exa...
