College was value for money with good faculty.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and classes are never missed. Teachers are well qualified, including knowledge and experience. Teachers really support students, including knowledge and placement activities. The course curriculum is relevant, and it has changed this year. According to the syllabus, yes, the curriculum makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that hard in college if you study well and take care of your personal aptitude.

Review about GEC Rajkot.

Faculty: The teachers at this college are qualified, but they go through the syllabus too fast. The difficulty of the semester exams is average, as they are set by Gujarat Technical University. On the plus side, there is no compulsory 75% attendance requirement.

College in brief and placement details.

Faculty: The faculty for CE are good. Most are good teachers and happy to help. Just don't tease them and they don't tease you back. Semester exams are easy if you study 1 day before and you are an average student. It's an easy pass. Not to say there are easy questions but never felt hard to pass if you want to score well, then study well. The passing exam is easy. Exam of midterm is 30 marks in total; obtain 12 to pass and end-term exam is 70- marks university exam.

Overall the college is good.

Faculty: The faculty members are friendly, and you will have a pleasant studying experience. It is advantageous that the teachers are understanding and do not mind if you attend classes or not, unlike other colleges. They are also very supportive. All the courses offered here are good, but the CE course stands out as the best. The exams are moderately challenging, so there is no need to stress excessively.

I have already reviewed and mentioned how our college is good.

Faculty: Our teachers are educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Our college prepares students for the industry. Our students will pass our department's core subjects but may not pass the other department's subjects; 65% of students pass in our college.

Reasons to avoid GEC, Rajkot.

Faculty: Professors are not helpful at all. No doubt they are GPSC qualified teachers but their teaching quality is bad. They behave very badly with the students and are aggressive. They do not support the students in extra curricular activities. The course curriculum is not relevant at all. It feels like we are in a government offices while trying to get our paper works done. The course doesnā€™t make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not difficult at all. 90% students pass the exam on their...

Don't join a government engineering college unless you are a day scholar.

Faculty: Professors are not helpful at all because they are government officials, excluding some professors. They call themselves GPSC-qualified faculty members, but they don't know how to teach students. They are not knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is very bad, so students study on their own. This course curriculum is not relevant; it does not prepare students to be industry-ready because what they want is attendance. They don't support extracurricular activities. There are two main semester exa...

Review of Government Engineering College Rajkot .

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. The only drawback to studying at this college is that you must know Gujarat. Being a non-Gujarati, I've faced a lot of difficulties in academics. The college is medium but the faculty members used to speak Gujarat. The course is curriculum-relevant. Semester exams are moderate. If you have prepared well, then you can easily secure good marks.
