MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2026

Average but a worthy medical college.
Placements: Since it is a medical college providing internships to almost all 100 students, interns will be posting in different areas for 1 to 1.5 months. All of these postings are in an allied hospital, i.e., a district hospital. In an internship, students get around 12k–18k for a month.
Infrastructure: The campus is amazing. The library has all the famous and useful books for MBBS. We have limited space for outdoor and indoor games and other activities. We celebrate some events, like the college festival, Dandiya nights and some religious events. Classrooms are well ventilated and sufficient.
Faculty: Almost all the faculty are present on campus, which means there is no shortage of faculty on the college campus. Exams are a bit difficult. Faculty are very helpful. The passing percentage is 50%. I think it makes the course difficult. The new curriculum, according to NMC, makes studying enjoyable.

A short glimpse of GMC Firozabad .
Placements: It is an medical college providing internship to almost 100 percent of students in allied hospital ie. District hospital. In internship, average student get around 12 k - 18k for a month. Intern will be posted in each department for around 1- 1.5 months i.e. rotatory internship.
Infrastructure: There are seperate lecture theatre for each batch for theory classes. Proper building is there, a well maintained academic block with each department having sufficient facilities like Wi-Fi, library, etc. Seperate hostels for boys and girls with attached mess. Sports facility also present.
Faculty: Teachers and other faculty are very helpful especially during exams, highly educated graduated from prestigious colleges of India. New curriculum pattern involves students, makes study enjoyable and interactive giving exposure to students. In MBBS passing percentage is to score minimum 50 percent, as it's not an easy course the semester exams are bit difficult.

The dream of becoming a doctor fulfilled.
Placements: This is a new college. None of the batches have completed their internships yet, so let's see what the upcoming ratio of selected students in NEET PG will be in the upcoming years. Batch 2019 will be the first batch to give the NEET PG score.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good; as it is a new college, everything in the college is new: furniture, equipment, labs. It's a Wi-Fi campus, even in the hostel Wi-Fi is installed. There is a canteen, and a mess is also available. There are good facilities for sports, and a library is there too.
Faculty: The teachers are skilled enough to make you a professional doctor. All are skilled doctors who have graduated from renowned medical colleges and have specializations from renowned hospitals and colleges. Semester exams are tougher than in any other degree program. The pass percentage is also low.
Other: The campus is good; all the extracurricular activities also take place on time. A fest also takes place once a year. Scholarships are also provided for all.

Review of Government Medical College Firozabad.
Placements: Internships for 2019 batch are provided in 2024 which will be the first batch of our college for NEET PG.
Infrastructure: Academic block and the library are well-equipped and has well-established infrastructure. Library has air-conditioners. Canteen and cafeteria facilities are not available but separate girls' and boys' messes are provided with scheduled weekly menu charts. Sports are played by students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are knowledgeable and qualified. They organise various seminars every year, project chartworks, group discussions, and educational skits performed by students which are given marks in the internal assessments. Semester exams are little difficult compared to professional exams.
Other: An annual fest named Spandan is celebrated every year to cherish students and to renovate their talent. Our college needs to provide a canteen. Around 100 students join every year in each batch. Our college is going to start B.Sc nursing and paramedical courses this year.

The infrastructure is good, the faculty is helpful, and all library facilities are okay.
Placements: As we are in MBBS, there is nothing to say about the placements. We are a batch of about 100 students, and we are the second batch from our college. Our college can't tell about the final year results. According to the present results, we are hoping for a good result in the future with a good amount of PG selection.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The college campus is okay. The college campus is outside the city, so the area around it is not well developed. Library facilities are also not bad. Sports facilities are not up to the mark but are okay. Mess food is as in other colleges.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is helpful. Our college comes under King George's Medical University, Lucknow, so the exam's standards are according to tier level (i. e. good). The course curriculum is relevant to the mark. We are here for MBBS (one of the toughest courses), so we have to face many hardships, which we overcome with the help of our faculty and seniors.
Other: Good.

Overall, it is a good college and had a good experience, not dissatisfied with it.
Placements: In my senior batch whoever wanted to do the job as an MBBS JR got jobs easily and some chose to prepare for master's. The average salary offered including accommodation given is approximately Rs.70000 - Rs.80000 per month. Some of my seniors got placed in MAX hospital, some in Apollo hospitals, and some opened their own clinics in their hometowns. Internship is compulsory for every student and none completes the degree without internship.
Infrastructure: Academic block has an excellent infrastructure with teachers from some of the best institutions like AIIMS Delhi. The hostels are our pride as they are very good, neat and clean. Good quality mess food is also available. Our hostel rooms and library has Wi-Fi for every one.
Faculty: Teachers are from some of the best institutes in India like AIIMS Delhi and they are extremely helpful career-wise and as a person too. The curriculum has some pros and cons but overall its okay. Enough time is given for students for exposure in the hospital to deal the current scenario. Exams are not held semester wise but yearly exams are there. The difficulty level of the exams is high. Good quality doctors are the better health care facilities in the country.
