What a massive 200 acres of a medical college has to give to its MBBS students.

Faculty: Teachers in GMC Nagpur are highly proficient, recognized and skilled doctors in their professions. They all teach quite decently and articulately with vivid explanations. They are also available for guidance and counselling. However, theory lectures are not significant in the MBBS course. Practical classes are the most vital part of the course as they impart laboratory knowledge to students. Clinical postings have been introduced in MBBS, where students from 2nd year onwards go to OPD and award ...

Absolutely satisfied with the college and would like my juniors to join the college.

Faculty: Teachers are not that interactive but are helpful in nature. In MBBS it's about self-study MBBS from GMC Nagpur is valuable. University papers and internal exams are set at easy to moderate levels. 95% of people pass out easily. In my opinion, passing an MBBS is way easier than getting admission to a government medical college.

Good college, realistic review.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified, with a lot of experience in their specific subject. Teachers available are M.Sc. and Ph.D. with 16–22 years of experience and clinical knowledge. Some classes are taken by nursing teachers, and some classes are taken by MBBS department lecturers.

Really good infrastructure and modern facilities for the students.

Faculty: The faculty at GMC is highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were experienced and gave the best quality teaching to the students. The teachers conducted all the clinical learning classes for the students. Course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry ready. Semester exams of the college were hard to pass.

Good for clinical practice. Low fees but lacks infrastructure and disorganised administration.

Faculty: For physiotherapy course, the subjects are broadly divided in departmental subjects and rest of the subjects (common with MBBS course). The teachers are all qualified, some teach great, some just show a PPT. The curriculum is hard and it covers a great variety of subjects throughout the 4 year course. BPT, like every other medical course, is an annually evaluated course rather than 2 semesters per year. The yearly University exams are of good standard, although with regular studies they are easi...

Our college is the best in Maharashtra.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified to give the best teaching. Exams are difficult. There is much to study. Teachers are very much helpful but are egoistic. Care has to be taken while conversing with teachers.

Satisfied as per learning point of view.

Faculty: Teachers in each department are qualified and experts in their respective branches. They provide a great teaching platform. The curriculum provided is of 4 and half year. And provides sufficient time for its completion. It mostly makes students out to go with the world as a good doctor.

One can gain great knowledge, but our faculty are not interested in teaching.

Faculty: The way of teaching of our faculty is not up to the mark. Classes are not conducted regularly. Only 2-3 teachers from each department teach with interest. The student to faculty ratio is either 200:1 or 100:1. The exposure to different kinds of patients is excellent. The rarest of rare cases, syndromes, and patients can be seen and studied. But our teachers are not very interested in teaching, so during clinical posting, students either learn by themselves or do not attend it. UG Students go to ...

The college is good for learning comprehensively.

Faculty: All the faculty members have good experience in their field. The old professors are not that friendly, but they teach with passion. The faculty ration is good but can be improved. The course curriculum is very good which is updated when required. The high patient load is really helpful for us in learning.

I am proud to be a part of this great institution.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members here are helping and highly qualified. Especially when you enter to the final year, you'll appreciate their quality of teaching inwards and OPD during clinical postings. They use projectors, boards and specimens as per the need to explain the topic to us.

I'm not happy with the infrastructure, but as it is a tertiary centre, patient exposure is good.

Faculty: I would rate 6 out of 10 for teaching quality. Clinics are not taken seriously by the majority. They put no efforts in making a good doctor. Theoretical aspects are emphasised, and our teachers have started taking everything for granted. Apart from negative aspects which are shared by almost every college, our college has given a lot of gems to this society. When one is aimed at making a change, then they get support and surely succeed.

I am happy to be a part of such an institute.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. They attend calls whenever you need their help. They help students in getting practical and clinical exposure. Teaching methods used are digital such as PPTs, video lectures or video cases, audio clips of auscultation, teacher-student interaction, seminars and many more.
