I am satisfied with our college because it is overall decent.
Placements: About 50% of the students got placed from our course. The lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA-2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 2 LPA-4 LPA. Yokohama, Bajaj Automobile, etc., are the top recruiters for our course. About 30% to 40% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are sufficient classrooms, a library, workshop, computer lab, different labs according to branches and Wi-Fi. There is no hostel yet, but in future, we will get it. There is sufficient area to play games like cricket, football, badminton, etc. In the mechanical branch, we use Lathe machine and other mechanical engineering machines.
Faculty: In our college, there are decent teachers, and some of them have great knowledge and skills. But some have low experience but good in knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant, but you can't gain knowledge up to industry because, in India, the education system is very bad. In India, they only judge students according to marks.
Other: In the mechanical branch, you get to learn many things, and if you're interested, you will enjoy it very well. Before I join Government Polytechnic College, Bhatapara, I heard that mechanical engineering is very interesting. It is interesting, but in terms of jobs, it doesn't have much scope. Overall, activities are good in my college.
