Candidates must have passed 10th level Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or another examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of SecondaryEducation (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates must have passed in all subjects including Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
Candidates who appeared or are appearing for 10th or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2024.
There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024.

Our college provides good infrastructure, teachers, placements, and facilities.
Placements: Few companies visit our college for recruitment. The minimum salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month. The maximum salary offered was Rs 20,000 per month. Few students got placed in this course. The selection process is very simple and they ask questions related to your branch. Students got placed based on their performance in the exams.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in the hostels. Laboratories are very good. Classrooms are well-maintained. There is a decent library and several books are available. Hostel facilities are good. The food quality is average.
Faculty: All faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Few teachers do not conduct classes regularly. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 95%.

Review of Government Polytechnic College, Hyderabad.
Placements: In our college, only 10% of students were placed. The salary package offered was 2 LPA. I got an offer from Medha Servo Drives. Top recruiting companies like TCS, etc., visited our campus. The top role offered is the junior engineer.
Infrastructure: Only our college has lab equipment in the state for diploma colleges. Wi-Fi was available throughout the college. A hostel was affordable. We had standard food, rooms, lighting, and so on. Our college has an attached hostel.
Faculty: All our faculty members were qualified with M.Tech and some of them were Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum was relevant. We were taken to Nagarjuna Sagar Dam for an industry visit, where we learned about the hydropower project. The semester exams are easy to pass if a student is prepared normally.
Other: I opted for the EEE course.

I am satisfied with our college.
Placements: In our college, the placement percentage is so good. Many of the students settled through these placements. Top companies recruit students from here. Some of the students do B. Tech through the lateral entry scheme, by writing the entrance exam called as Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college are very good for students. The labs are awesome and students can learn a lot from them. There are a lot of books in the library, and students can find many books and these will help to improve the subject knowledge. Coming to classrooms, they are very comfortable for students. More than 70 members can sit in the classroom.
Faculty: There is good, well trained and well-educated faculty in our college. From them, I learned a lot and got an overall GPA of 9.93. The curriculum is well prepared by the SBTET board, so students can learn a lot. This curriculum is divided into six parts for six semesters ( for 3 years). Students can learn many outcomes through this.
Other: Fresher parties, annual days, farewell parties, sports, events and many more will be celebrated in our college. In all these events cultural activities, dances, skits, and funny comments are done. They provide 7000 scholarships for the students.

Overall, the campus is good for students.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies are Toshiba, Tata Consultancy Services, Siemens Chemical Industry, NCL and other companies. The highest package offered is 3 LPA, and the minimum package is 2 LPA. Internships were held for students, and about 15% of students were left unplaced. The top roles offered were maintenance, tester, fitter, manager, technician etc.
Infrastructure: The college facilities and infrastructure are good enough for students. Labs, classrooms and library are available with good facilities. The hostel is somewhat okay, and if anyone is interested, they can join there, otherwise, they can choose other hostels, rooms or houses outside. The college hostel food is not so good. The weekend food is good as they serve non-veg.
Faculty: The teachers are very interactive with students. The professors are highly qualified with the highest degrees like PhD, M.Tech, and B.Tech. The teaching is both theoretical and practical. They teach the students in the GATE standards. The semester exams are held very strictly and check for indiscipline practices that have been attempted in exams. The semester exam papers are prepared by SBTET Board. According to the explanation of courses by lecturers, exams will be easy for a normal student to attempt and gain pass percentage.
Other: I studied EEE in 2018. This course could be better in terms of placements. The overall course designed was of high standards. The events and fests are held once a year. Workshops and other curricular activities are held mostly.
