Candidate should be a citizen of India. Candidates must have passed 10th level Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or another examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of SecondaryEducation (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates must have passed in all subjects including Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for 10th or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2024. There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024. Working Employee candidate should bring NOC from the respective organizations.

Review of Government Polytechnic College, Warangal.

Placements: There were very few placement opportunities because most students opted for undergraduate degrees. The highest salary package offered was around 2 LPA. The top recruiter was Servomedha. All students went for internships or industrial training according to the academic calendar. They gained very good practical knowledge.

Infrastructure: Since it was an old polytechnic college, the facilities were a little old. Labs were provided for every subject. Classrooms were huge. They looked bright because the ventilation provided was pretty good. Hostels were available for boys and girls. The boys' hostel was only for 1st-year students.

Faculty: Most teachers were highly talented and friendly. The course curriculum was designed in such a way that diploma students could easily understand all the topics. Some industrial tours helped students to gain practical exposure as well. Exams were a bit difficult to make students understand the subjects.

This college is a center of knowledge in technical courses.

Placements: There are 60 students in my batch. The highest salary package offered is up to 3 LPA, the average salary package offered is 1 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is less than 0.25 LPA. Top recruiters are BHEL, Tata, Havels, ABD Limited, Crompton, Adani Transmission, etc. Top roles offered are assistant engineer, assistant divisional engineer, divisional engineer, chairman and director of TRANSCO and GENCO, and managing director of GENCO and TRANSCO.

Infrastructure: Our college is of massive structure with two blocks and 20 rooms with a pleasant library, a basketball court, tennis court, a playground with kabaddi, and kho kho courts. Our collge consists of four drawing halls, 3 electrical labs, 2 CAD labs, and 3 physics and chemistry labs.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified with an M. Tech degree in technical courses. Physics and chemistry staff members have chemical engineering degrees and physics teachers have engineering in electrical engineering from NIT Warangal. English teachers have Ph.D. in English literature. Maths sir has a degree of PG.

Other: This is the course in which I am interested because the whole world runs on electricity. More practical knowledge and small part from generation to distribution of electricity is so complicated and learning this makes to enlight the world. More practical knowledge should be implemented. Every fest is celebrateed from independence day to farewell. Everything is celebrated with an enthusiasm and every student and teacher works together to make the event successful. We will get a scholarship of Rs.5000 every year and a hostel is provided only for the 1st-year students. We were part of NCC and we will have inter polytechnic state-level sports and games.

It is the best college for the SCC students.

Placements: There will be placements but with low salary packages. The placements will be far away from home. But students to get a job after a diploma is the best choice. There will be good placements for our college. We have the chance to write the exams for government jobs with the diploma certificate.

Infrastructure: It's 50 years building so don't expect a good infrastructure in this college. But it is a great college. We don't have hostels. We have a hostel for the first-year girl students. They are still constructing hostels for boys. But you can take rooms near the college.

Faculty: The teachers are the best part of college. They are always with us and the curriculum is so easy than the inter. We can pass the exams by studying two days before the exam. It will improve the practical skills. But in this college, they don't make us to do practicals.

Very good Polytechnic college with good study with good environment.

Placements: Around 35% of students got their placements at our college. The highest package is about 4 LPA. The average package is 2.6 LPA. The companies recruiting us are MRF, Wipro, isro, etc. The selected students are internships for 3,4 months but most of the companies need a b tech complete students.

Infrastructure: The private hostel requires Aadahar proof and there is a need for improvement in developing our hostels and dining halls tables, bathrooms, and furniture there is a bit lag of having land for fun and sports at hostels. The hostel fee is INR 3000. Very good environment and the famous Bhadra kali temple is near the college.

Faculty: My opinion on the faculty is that they are good certified lectures. They have good teaching skills, they are friendly to students, they are good in all types of subjects, good teaching, they can explain all types of questions. It is very difficult to pass semester exams. The pass percentage is 50.

Other: I had chosen this course because in this course more opportunities are there. Campus life in my college is joyful every year. There will be lots of game competitions from colleges and districts. The selected students will play for state Polytechnic games. We are having several labs and the equipment is good. No scholarships are provided by our college. There are many positive things about my college faculty. The major positive thing is there are lab faculty members cad faculty members and good equipment.
