Dissatisfied because of faculty & placement, and very bad infrastructure, campus, and facilities.
Placements: The college does not provide placements for the students. They told us that they would give placements at the time of admission, but they do not. Although the students from the college are not placed in any big company, all the students of my batch are doing their degree instead of any job.
Infrastructure: The college does not have a girls' hostel; they have a boys' hostel, but it is under construction. All the courses are available in the college. Each branch has its own floor and labs, but the PCs and necessary equipment are not available in the quantity required for the students.
Faculty: The college faculty is very strict. The exams are very good because of the strict faculty and staff. The practical exams were not that good because of the available PCs and equipment, and the viva is okay. The college follows the sandwich pattern (semester pattern).
Other: The college does not have that many clubs and fests.

Life at government polytechnic.
Placements: 30 percent of the students from my batch had got placements. The highest package offered was for 2.5 LPA. The lowest package offered would be around 80k to 1 LPA. The average package offered were 1.5 LPA. The top companies that were recruiting were mostly government companies like ONGC and HPCL, and some private companies like Godrej, etc. The top roles offered were mostly executive and senior executive, and some were offered for the assistant manager role.
Infrastructure: The college had good infrastructure and a good campus. It was well-equipped with facilities like Wi-Fi and internet. The classrooms were very spacious and could easily host 30–45 students. The college also provided a library. Not a variety of books were provided but the ones that are essential were. I was a local so I didn't have to opt for a hostel or mess. But the food items served in the canteen were good to go. The college didn't have any ground- or turf-like facilities. But they had a number of indoor games. They also conduct sports days annually.
Faculty: The teaching staff was well qualified and well versed in today's teaching methods. The teachers were always helpful with any doubts from students. The teachers used to go through every student to check how he was performing and how his academics were. The course curriculum was very relevant. Maybe not now but in 5–6 years, there will be a boom in this field. The teaching staff was so professional that they had made the students industry-ready well in advance. providing them with the knowledge they had gained. The difficulty level for the course is 8–8.5 on a scale of 10. The passing percentage was 35 to 40%.
Other: I chose this course because there would be a very growing demand for professionals who had studied it. The best thing about this course is that it teaches you about computer languages and programming like Java, python, C++, etc. All things were up to par, and I don't see any area for improvement. There were no events or cultural programs as it was a government college. The crowd was also decent. The connectivity of the college was also easy and hassle-free to reach.

Satisfied with the faculty and education but not with placement, infrastructure, or campus life.
Placements: My course was computer engineering, in which my college doesn't provide 100% placement. The placement rate is approximately 60–70%, as it is Diploma college Most of the students take admission to degree college for B.Tech. or B.E in their second year after Diploma. Internship start in the middle of the 3rd-year diploma. Bright students get internships themselves; most internships are unpaid and just for marks for last year. Many companies, like Wipro and Seem, etc., select 5–10 students. And salaries offered range from a minimum of 5,000 per month to a maximum of 20,000 per month as a diploma and not a degree.
Infrastructure: college needs to improve in infrastructure and all facilities and it's least expected as it is government college. There are no Wi-Fi or projectors in classrooms. There's one library for all the courses students. In practicals, computers are also limited. In the practical lab, 3 students have to do one practical on one computer. But the campus is good with all the nature around. hostel is so affordable for the students Hostel dress is 4.5k per month, which includes breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner, and rooms are also big, with a kitchen including all the available beds, chairs, and tables, so go for hostel; it's best.
Faculty: The Faculty of this college is so good and reputed; there teaching methods are also too good and understandable but the ratio of students and teachers is like: students in one class are 65 and taught by one teacher but teachers are so educated our principal itself are a B.Teach, M.Teach and Ph.D. So for education, it's best to go to a college for Diploma in any field. Semester exams are moderate; it depends on how hard and smart work we do but as an average student, it's moderate-level exams. passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I selected computer engineering because, as all know, it has so much scope in future and I like coding. The languages like C, C++, Java, Python and many more are taught here, so those who lovers to code or learn it can go here for sure. And for this college, there is nothing to improve in the course; just practicals are held on long days, like there are only 3 practicals in whole week but as we know in computer engineering, practical knowledge is much more important than Theory. Not many events are held of Entertainment. Events like Traditional Day, Black Day, and Bollywood that which are held in January each year and one annual day in march-April. campus has a large crowd, mostly students from Mumbai itself. campus is best and surrounded with greenery and stress. It feels so fresh and refreshing, as I was sitting on the side of bench in class It is so refreshing as there are so many trees outside greenery and air. college has a big field for all the games like kabaddi, cricket, football and all. Scholarships are all provided as it is government college; there is also a reservation for SC, ST, and OBC categories, respectively. And programs like gpm techno is held for those who are interested in such extracurricular activities.

This is a good college with well-equipped facilities and qualified teachers.
Placements: There are multiple placements opportunities in my campus especially for CE. Approximately every 4 out of 6 students get placed with a good package. Nearly 40% of the students get placed in my college with a good package. Many companies including Amazon, Google, Tata, and CTS offer nice packages. Many will get first internships with a good stipend amount for the first 2 months and then get job within the next 2 months.
Infrastructure: There are good labs equipped with a Wi-Fi and many computers. The classrooms are neat with digital boards and a good library. The food provided in the hostel is good and healthy. Every week, there is two meals including chicken and you get eggs twice in the mess.
Faculty: Every year 2 semesters will be there along with externals for every semester. Most of the students pass due to the easy syllabus and hard studying. The syllabus is relevant. The faculty will help you with the issues raised in the college.
Other: I chose this course because it has a good demand in the present days. I wish there is no recession in the future. Every year, a fest is conducted along with the freshers and farewell events.

It is a good college with good faculty members and placements.
Placements: Our college provides paid internships in the 6th semester. Students got internships in various tech companies with an average stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in labs. The infrastructure of our college is good. The library has all course-related books. There is no hostel facility in our college. There are many private and government hostels near our college. Our canteen is good. It provides all food items at affordable prices. The quality of the food is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. We can gain knowledge from them if we attend college constantly. They are well-qualified. They are unable to follow the proper schedule, so students face problems. Their teaching style is great. Our course is not good.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology. Our department should focus on all students. The campus conducts tech fests and events every year. It is a government college, so the average cutoff is more than 75%. Our course is for 3 years.
