Candidate should have passed S.S.C. Examination and obtained atleast 35% marks in the qualifying examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Candidate belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/Other Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidate who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2021, and whose results are yet to be declared can apply on provisional basis.

My personal point of view on my college.

Placements: Every year, almost 75 percent of students get placed. The highest package is from ThoughtWorks at 4 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is from Alpha at 3 Lacs per annum. Tata, L&T, Alpha, ThoughtWorks, Aditya Birla—almost all students get internship opportunities in various companies.

Infrastructure: College facilities are very good as compared to hostel facilities. We have highly established labs and technical teachers with high qualifications. Our classrooms have projectors to understand the subjects clearly and deeply. Hostel facilities are okay, but college facilities are very good.

Faculty: We have highly qualified and experienced teachers, including senior lecturers and holds. They help us learn the subjects in both practical and theoretical ways. Our course curriculum belongs to C20. This curriculum helps us learn the subjects according to the marks assigned.

Other: I chose this college and this course for campus placement jobs. As an aspiring engineering student, I want to work in industrial areas and companies of various MNCs. We have tech fests every 2 years and IPSGM every 3 years. We have grounds for playing cricket, volleyball, and badminton courts.

Good life of mech course and good faculty.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include General Motors and Tech Mahindra. 70% of students got internships in top companies, and the top roles offered are tool engineer and nuclear engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Our department has separate blocks for mechanical engineering courses, and laboratories are well-equipped. Many technical and financial books are available in the library. The food served in the hostel is decent, and a playground is available for sports.

Faculty: Many faculty members are well-trained. They have a lot of experience, and most of them are Ph.D. holders. They have completed their master's degrees in their respective subjects. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 74-78%. If we study well, we score good marks. The course curriculum is good.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest.

It's a government college so I give a 3.5 satisfied review.

Placements: As mechanical engineering students, we had six companies come to campus for interviews. Out of the 50 or so students who attended, 90% were selected. The highest salary offered was Rs 5.5 lacs per annum, and the lowest was Rs 3.5 lacs per annum. The companies were Tata, Mahindra, Nippon, Asian Paints, Wheel India, and Synergies Castings Limited.

Infrastructure: The college has the minimum required government college facilities. The library is there but not very good. The labs have the usual equipment. The hostel and room are average. There are no medical facilities. The drinking water is available but needs to be purified. But the main thing is that we will get freedom.

Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, and except for two or three, they are helpful. However, some teachers are very strict and show ego toward students. The curriculum is relevant and helpful for industry readiness. Exams are difficult, and only 85 percent of students pass.

Other: I took mechanical engineering because I wanted to become a mechanical engineer. However, we got a basic education in all other courses as well. The information in the course is somewhat outdated and needs updating. We had a farewell and a freshmen party. A scholarship of INR 7500 and an MTF of INR 4500 are provided. RTF is provided if we get a seat in it. Don't expect any extracurricular activities.

Placements: The 89% percent of students placed I n our course the highest package is Rs 3 Lacs per annum the lowest package is Rs 1.5 Lacs per annum avarage packege is Rs 2 Lacs per annum top companies is tata group hpcl general motors the 53% percent of students dot internship from our course hpcl tata group general motors top role likes automation engineer senior design engineer power train engineer .

Infrastructure: The sprawling college campus is spread over an area of over 15 acres which includes 4040 sq meters of built up area and 5 acres across of open space for garden and sports facilities and 53 classrooms 9 computer labs Wi-Fi is enable good hostel are provide basic facilities AC rooms atteched bath rooms and water purifier washing machine common reading hall .

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable professors in our college iam truly satisfied with the faculty they teach in a good manner which is helpful to the students the bond between students and teachers is quite good the course curriculum is relevant and it makes student industry ready the semister exams are difficult n this college and 59% is the pass percentage .

Review of Government Polytechnic, Vishakhapatnam.

Placements: The placement process was smooth in this college. Top recruiting companies were Reliance, ONGC, GAIL, etc. The average salary package offered varies between 5 LPA - 7 LPA. Top roles offered were panel officer, plant manager, etc. The salary packages were good.

Infrastructure: Our campus was very good. It was a government college so it was not as excellent as private institutions. The hostel was good. The food served in the mess was good. Canteen was available in our college. There was no hospital on our campus. An indoor sports complex was available in this college.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified enough to impart their enormous amount of experience to us. The course curriculum covers many important topics which is good for us. There were many fields in this course to make us ready for the industry.
