Overall, it is one of the top government college in Uttarakhand.

Placements: Around 20%-30% of students got placed from campus and some students from off campus. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IT and mega engineer and no further companies will hire most students. Generally, internships are very poor and students got internships, so there was no percentage of it. The top roles in our course are site engineer, power engineer, and many ...

College with a beautiful view.

Placements: 50% of people are placed in our college. The lowest package is 4 LPA and the highest is 9 LPA. Most companies come for sales jobs only. The top company is Medico. Students do internships on their own, as the college doesn't provide them. Internships generally don't require a specific percentage.

My college experience is good, and the environment around the college is fresh and healthy.

Placements: In our college, placements are not good. The average packages are around 2 to 3 Lacs. 50 percent of students are not placed in every batch. BELL, L&T, etc. are the companies that visit our campus. Most of the students do off-campus placements. The college does not have a good role in placements.

Best spot to see and feel the serenity of nature.

Placements: 30% of students got their placement among them only 20% go for their jobs in respected companies because the average package of placement is 3.5 Lacs per annum after lockdown or after the pandemic time placement from this college gets reduced but after time passed it will get better.

4 years vacation in an isolated place.

Placements: The placement in our college is very average. It does not provide any good package. The students are mostly dull. Only a few students grab a good placement or either crack GATE exams. The highest package was 12 LPA as of the previous year. And the minimum was 3 LPA. Getting an internship is very rare in our course.

Affordable and nice mountain life.

Placements: The placement is not very good. Although this year and last year the highest number of placed students were from the mechanical engineering branch. But the placement companies are mainly sales companies and are not giving good packages. It is around 4 LPA to 3.5 LPA.

Short Information about GBPIET.

Placements: We have very few students coming here because it is very less affiliated with B.Tech and due to this, our placement is also not very good. The maximum placement of our branch is 11 Lacs per annum and the minimum placement is 3 Lacs per annum.

College is decent, beautiful, and price-worthy.

Placements: Our college is a decent government college; almost 50 percent of students get placement by the college. Most of the students are from CSE, AIML, Mechanical, and ECE. Our college has other branches also, like Civil and Biotech, but most students who are placed in companies are from the above-mentioned branches. L&T, Wipro, and Tata are some companies that have come to our college for placements. The average placement of the college is 5-6 LPA.

Not good placements but it is better than the private colleges.

Placements: Placement opportunities are limited, with only 30 to 40 students placed out of 50 who participate. However, the placement percentage is 55-65%, and most students who don't get placed do well on the GATE exam and go on to earn their M.Tech.

Absolutely satisfied by the college's really good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: About 60% students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting company of my course is Adobe. The percentage of internships in our college I don't know, but it has great numbers in it. There are so many roles in our course, like web master, etc.

What's real GBPIET looks like!

Placements: I am from the biotechnology branch, and there are almost 25-30 students in our department every year, and the placements are actually less since it is a research course, but people do internships even in IITs, and the average package is about 6 Lacs per annum.

The real GDPIET from a student's point of view.

Placements: I have not graduated, so I can't explain the placement scenario, but the records are average, about 4-6 LPA for most. The companies that visit include TCS, Wipro, BEL, etc. The highest package recently was about 97 LPA, though it's rare. I personally plan for higher studies, so I am preparing for GATE and applying for other government jobs.

Unfiltered Thoughts: My Time at GBPIET Pauri Garhwal

Placements: I am pursuing my B.Tech course in Electrical Engineering from GBPIET Pauri Garhwal. The placement record of my college is average; it largely depends on the market conditions. During a recession, placements can decline, while in better times, the placement record is quite average. The overall average package of the college is around 3.5 Lacs, with the highest package reaching up to 12 LPA. The placement depends on the timing, crowd, and companies visiting the campus.
