    On Highlights

Q:   Is Govt. Engineering College Bharatpur good for B.E. / B.Tech?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Placement

    * About 30% of students get placed, with a maximum package of INR4.5 LPA and an average package of INR7.5 LPA.
    * Many students secure jobs in civil engineering companies like JCB and L&T.
    * Placements depend on individual skills and taking guidance from professors.
    * Faculty members help students prepare for interviews and placements.

    Infrastructure

    * Separate buildings for each department
    * Good infrastructure for computer labs, classrooms, and libraries
    * Limited recreational facilities, such as a cricket ground that needs maintenance

    Faculty

    * Well-qualified faculty members, mostly from IITs and NITs
    * Experienced lecturers who teach well and cover the course material thoroughly
    * Some faculty members are helpful and supportive, while others might not be as effective

    Campus Life

    * Campus is about 54 acres large and has a good environment
    * Students live together in hostels with decent facilities
    * Limited extracurricular activities and events, with only a few happening annually

    Overall Experience

    * Course curriculum is relevant and industry-ready
    * Students gain hands-on experience through projects and internships
    * Average salary packages vary across industries, ranging from INR2.5 LPA to INR5.5 LPA

It's essential to consider these factors when deciding whether Govt. Engineering College Bharatpur is suitable for pursuing a B.E./B.Tech degree. While the institution has its strengths, particularly in terms of faculty expertise and academic relevance, it struggles with placement rates and limited recreational opportunities. Ultimately, a prospective student must weigh these pros and cons to determine if the college aligns with their goals and aspirations.

Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.E. / B.Tech programs at Govt. Engineering College Bharatpur?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for BE/BTech Programs at Government Engineering College, Bharatpur

Based on the reviews and comments from students and alumni, here's an overview of the effectiveness of the placement cell:

    * Improving trend: Although the placement cell may not be "up to the mark" currently, there is an improvement being observed over the years, with a goal to achieve better results for junior batches.
    * Exposure opportunities: Clubs within the college organize various events, providing students with exposure and opportunities to develop their skills.
    * Good placements for deserving students: While not all students get placed, recognised companies visit the campus for recruitment, and some students receive internships. However, performance plays a crucial role in securing these opportunities.
    * Room for improvement: Some students feel that the faculty could be more supportive and that there isn't sufficient emphasis on preparing students for placements.

In summary, while the placement cell shows promise, there is still room for growth and improvement. Deserving students can expect decent placement opportunities, but overall, the cell requires further development to meet expectations.

The worst college because of no placement support by the college and the worst faculty.
Placements: In my course, only 2 students get placed in HR and business development departments at a 12k per month job. The total number of students is 65. The highest package offered by the company in college is, till now, 4.5 LPA. There is no well-established company visit here. Not a single student gets an internship from college. The top roles offered by the companies are business development roles and sales roles.
Infrastructure: The faculty of the college are the worst; they come to the college for their own attendance, not for teaching students. There are separate buildings for each department. Food facilities in the hostel and canteen are poor. There are no medical facilities in the college. Sports facilities are also the worst. There is a ground for cricket, but it has never been cleaned to play.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in creating trauma in students, and teachers in the college have very little knowledge about the subject they teach. The course curriculum is made by RTU, Kotak, and it is bad. Semester exams are difficult. This college is not a value for money.
Other: I am from the 2020-2024 pass-out batch from the computer science department. I chose the course due to the name of the college, government, as it can be better for placement, but it's the worst. Things can only be better if they take students through the merit list. There should be no direct admission. And more good faculty should be there. There is no fest in the college; there are no events in the college that are organized by the college; connectivity is very poor as it is in the village.

    A better institute for engineers.
Placements: Thirty percent of students were placed. The lowest and highest salary packages fall between 5 to 15 lakhs per year. The average package is around 7.5 lakhs per year. I recommend this institute because many big civil engineering recruiting companies like JCB, L&T, are hiring students from GECBH.
Infrastructure: In the hostels of the college, you will get RO water for drinking, geysers in cold weather, and nice food quality. All students are living just like a family atmosphere. Hostel warden, Submit sir, is very nice and helpful in nature for all students. In hostels, privacy is the first priority.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is well-qualified and teaches every step clearly. Especially, Upadhyay sir, Naveen Jha sir, Hasan sir, and my Hostel warden, Submit sir. They make students capable in the field of civil engineering. I am very happy because I have done my civil engineering from this institute.

    Eco-friendly environment.
Placements: 10% of students got placement. The highest package is 4 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. No companies were invited when we were studying in that college. Zero. All students got internships from private companies and institutions for making websites and developing software.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available like Wi-Fi, computer labs, mechanical workshop lab with full safety, electronic and communication lab, electrical lab, civil labs. Library, classrooms, and infrastructure are fully eco-friendly. Canteen and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is top-notch. The teachers are very helpful. The faculty is highly qualified and very knowledgeable. The majority of the faculty have experience of 15 years or above. The students are well-prepared for their respective technical industries. The semester exams in the college are quite tough but have a decent pass percentage.

In a short way, the college is good for study, games, extracurricular activities, and enjoyment.
Placements: In my college, a minimum of five companies have come to each branch. I am a computer science student, and approximately 10% of students were placed in my course. And the highest offered was INR 500000 in my course. And so many students are going to get internships from my courses, like NTPC, Blackbox, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure are available for my course, like computers, libraries, separate labs, classrooms, etc. And in our hostel, all facilities are available for all students. The hostel has provided good food, a canteen, medical facilities, and games for students.
Faculty: In my course, all teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and all teachers have good experience at teaching. And they did other course-related curriculum activities to help students learn more. The semester exam has a good pattern in my college, and approximately 85% of students passed.

Honest review about government engineering college Bharatpur.
Placements: The placement cell is not up to the mark but our college is improving placement and training cell year by year. We hope that placement will be good for our juniors. But there is a lot of exposure because of clubs in our college and they regularly organize many events in our college.
Infrastructure: The college campus is around 54 acres and the campus life is fabulous. You learn many life lessons from this campus. If we talk about hostel, it is good and the annual fee of the hostel is around INR 54,000 pet annum but food is not good. Our computer lab is full with many facilities like Wi-Fi and e-yantra lab.
Faculty: The four star is only for the faculty of our college because faculty is very well behaved and educated. They are always humble with us and always ready to solve our query. The scoring in the exam is not very hard but engineering is also not a very easy degree so you have to be aware in the class and listen to every lecture carefully which will help you a lot in the exams.
Other: The placement totally depends on your skills and if you always take guidance from the professors you will get a lot of exposure.

Overall the college is decent. Mess food is as expected (average).
Placements: Placements are decent and getting better. There are limited companies that visit the campus for placements, but as the college is going to be transformed into an RIT (Rajasthan Institute of Technology), everything will get better. The coding environment is decent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, especially the department buildings. Each department has its own lab, workshops, and classrooms. Wi-Fi facilities are also available. The library has all the useful books. If you are interested in sports, you can continue your interest. There is a basketball and volleyball ground.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, and seniors are also very kind. The curriculum is outdated because of RTU, but as it will become an RIT, it will get better. Exams are conducted according to RTU. Tip: Try to score well in internal exams, as it will help you in scoring well overall.
Other: I chose CSE because of my interest in programming. As it is a growing field, there is no lack of opportunities. I believe students should choose any course based on their interest, not because of money. In our college, seniors conduct many events, so interested people can participate and gain experience.
