Great Lakes, Chennai to Conduct Term Zero for Incoming Students
May 12, 2020: Chennai-based management institute, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai is conducting ‘Term Zero’ for incoming students. The session will be about interaction with leading industry professionals and prominent academic leaders such as Dr Ashwath Damodaran (NYU Stern), Dr Dipak Jain (President, CEIBS, Former Dean, Kellogg and INSEAD), Dr Hayagreeva Rao (Stanford) and Dr John Bilson (Dean, IIT Stuart). The programme will allow students to gain experience and guidance from some of the leading executives worldwide, in addition to masterclasses and seminars that will allow them to continue their path to develop leadership and management skills.
During this term, students will also witness CXO Talks that would include sessions by Chairman and MD Nestle India Suresh Narayanan; Former Chairman Infosys and Former MD Ashok Leyland R Seshasayee; Senior VP & CIO of Cambia Mohan Nair; MD Accenture Strategy Ganesan Ramachandran; and CTO-TCS Ananth Krishnan.
As the academic session 2020 is expected to begin in August based on AICTE guidelines, this initiative will help and train the future management students for a journey of transition before the academic year starts. This is an optional value-added programme for students at no cost.
Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai was founded in 2004 by Padma Shri Awardee Dr Bala V Balachandran. It one of the youngest B-School in India to receive accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), UK.
