It is a decent college. I would recommend joining this college if you are a coding enthusiast.

Placements: Placements in our college are decent. Almost 80% of the students got placed easily with an average salary package of 4 LPA - 5 LPA in IT and CSE branches. But the placements for ECE branch are nearly no. The highest package offered was 28 LPA for 3 students on-campus by Amazon. The lowest salary package offered was 2.52 LPA by E-Solz. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, CSC and TCS.

The infrastructure should be improved, or else it is a good college to learn.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty average. Many companies like HCl, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visit the college every year. All students get placed with a minimum salary package that ranges from 3-4 LPA. The maximum salary package offered ranges from 12-15 LPA. Students also take part in off-campus placements for a high salary package.

It is the best college for Sikh minority.

Placements: The average salary package offered in GTBIT is 5 LPA-6 LPA for CSE and IT students. Placements in our college are a little bit tricky as they display most of the off-campus high salary packages, but it is not true as the average salary package offered here is in the range of 2.5 LPA to 15 LPA. It is the higher and lower salary packages I've seen. Internships are not available to companies visiting the campus.

I suggest students study hard and not depend only on college.

Placements: Most of the students get placed in the CS and IT courses. The highest salary package offered till now is 44 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, TCS, etc., visit the college for placements. None of the students got an internship at the college because it does not provide an internship due to COVID-19.

If you can put extra effort from your side, you should join the top 3 branches of this college.

Placements: 80% of students got placed but not with good packages. The average package offered is 10 LPA, but one of our seniors grabbed a package of 44 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Oracle, DirectI, and many others come here during placements. During internships, only a few companies visit the college.

Placements and campus crowd are good, but teachers and infrastructure are very bad.

Placements: Almost 70-80% of the students got placed recently. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Amazon, Adobe and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Almost 10% of the students got an internship. Web developer, software developer and data scientists are the top roles offered.

There is a good infrastructure along with cooperative faculty members.

Placements: Placements are average here. Almost 60%-70% of the students get placed with an average salary package of around 5 LPA-6 LPA from IT and CSE. Students of ECE, EEE and ME get an average salary package of around 4 LPA-5 LPA. Companies which visit our college for placements are Infosys, Paytm, Wipro, Amazon and many other companies related to product and technology.

It's a good college with good faculty members. Although the campus is small, life is happening here.

Placements: Placements are fine with the average salary package of around 3.5 LPA-5 LPA. However, students can get a salary package of up to 30 LPA through off-campus placements. The placement cell here is active for both placements and internships and provides ample opportunities for students to grab their dream jobs.

The college has good placements, poor infrastructure and facilities, and good societies.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students were placed with the highest package being 32 LPA by Amazon and the average package of 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Amazon, TCS, and Wipro. All the other mass recruiters were there as well. If you really want to get a good placement from the college, do something exceptional.

Average facilities with no hostel and no ground.

Placements: The placements of this college is average but worth it. Its average package is 5-6 lacs per annum. But the best package is 30 lacs, which has been taken by 3 students. There are also mass recruiting companies too. The placement societies play an important role in it.

It is a satisfying college with an average canteen.

Placements: Placements of this college are average. There are 3 departments in this college, i.e., computer science, information and technology and electronics department. All departments have their own heads and placement societies, which play a great role in placements.

It is the best college for co-curricular activities.

Placements: We are from the IT batch, which has a high number of placements. Around 80%-85% of the students got placed in various companies. The highest salary package offered this year was 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon and Adobe. The top role offered is a junior developer. Most of the students get internships in various companies.

Placements: Placement is not very good but it is improving day by day and the placement packages for information technology is from 3 to 4 Lacs per annum. Here no big companies come. Certain small companies visit and choose recruit students. Placement not good for IEEE.

Faculty members are not bad, infrastructure is below average, and average placements.

Placements: Overall placements are up to average, as not many students got placed, and the students who got placed have barely have "good" packages. Average packages are 4 to 5 LPA, some of them are even lower around 2LPA. Also some students also got good placement packages, like more than 8LPA, ant one of them also got 12LPA package. Also it depends upon individual how he/she will perform.

Review of Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology.

Placements: The average package offered is 2-4 LPA. Mostly, IT companies and mass recruiters visit the campus. Placements in IPU are average, but if you have potential, then no one can stop you from getting a package of 12 LPA. Placements are the same in any engineering college.

The campus environment and crowd are good.

Placements: Placements in our college are average as always that I have seen in the past years. The average package offered is approximately 3.6 lakhs per annum by companies like TCS, Infosys, Cisco, HP, Samsung, etc. There are no arrangements by the college to provide internships to students. Students have to find their internships on their own through Internshala or Udemy, which is acceptable by the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not much good. Only students of CS, IT, and ECE with good coding skills got a chance to attend the placements. EEE students have to suffer as no company related to their stream visits our college to offer placements. The average package offered was 4 LPA, and the maximum salary offered was 8 LPA.

Neutral opinion because of similar state of most of the colleges under IP University.

Placements: Companies like Infosys, TCS hire in bulk. Max package does't go beyond 5 LPA, that too for core CS companies like Siemens's. Most of the batch was placed in mass-hiring companies, avg package of 3 LPA. Also, many companies hire through AMCAT tests. The placements for us began in November-December. The CPA puts in some moderate effort in trying to bring in new companies, and goes for partnerships with placement agencies like CoCubes. For a tier 2 college, the placement scene can be thought of to ...
