Good infrastructure and the experience of the college is an average.

Placements: The placements in college in our time was not so good, hardly 40 percent of students were placed because at that time, the news were speculating that college is shutting down from next year. So lot of companies did not came to our college. Companies that visited our college were hcl, infosys, samsung, sopra steria, new gen and average offered salary was 3.25 and roles that were offered were of software trainee, software tester and customer executive.

Not a good place to study or getting placed, if you have a better option go for it.

Placements: Placements here were not very good as compared to other better colleges of IP university. Companies here offered packages in the range of Rs. 2.5 to 3.5 lakhs per month. About, 15-20 companies came for hiring, and none of them, were the mass recruiters except for the Infosys which took a pool drive. Most of the companies hired less than 10 students. Your best hope in this college is off-campus.

Another average engineering college with decent placements. Lack of exposure and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are decent. A lot of companies come to campus offering about 2.5 -5.5 LPA average. Exceptions are also there where companies come with a higher package. By the end of the year, almost everyone is placed given the fact that you don't have any backlogs and a bit of skill set. Major companies like Infosys, HCL, Samsung, NGAARO etc. visit the college for the placements, and the roles include are software engineer trainee and testing, and sometimes even the marketing.

Overall an okay college with average placements, average staff, and below average infrastructure.

Placements: I am a student pursuing electronic and communication engineering at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Coming to placement section, I would like to say that approximately 10-20% students are placed from ECE branch. However, this is not the case with CS and IT branches. CS and IT branch students get decent jobs compared to ECE students. Moreover, EEE students have just 1% placement because core companies coming in our college for rec...

Good experience with good exposure to the theatre as a part of the theatre society of GTBIT

Placements: It was not as good as it used to be 2-3 years back, perhaps because of a running dispute in the court. This year, companies came but 90% were IT and CSE based companies. and ECE and EEE students had to face difficulties and many of them are still facing and are jobless. But until a few years back, this wasn't the case. I hope this year as well it isn't.

An average college in all aspects. Better than many private colleges.

Placements: Placements of the college are average. CS/IT have the highest percentage of placement. Samsung R&D gave the highest package this year of 7.5 LPA. Mass recruiters are there so the placement is fine. EEE has the lowest placements. Join this college if you want average placement. The placements are all about mass reccruiters who select 50/60 students.

College for fun, not for studies.

Placements: The placements were below average with only 30% of the students getting placed. Companies like Ericsson, Infosys, CSC, Capgemini, HCL, Nagarro, Sapient, SAP Labs, etc. were the part of the placement drive. The highest package was 4.25 L, offered by Sapient. Majority of the roles were of a software engineer. The placements of the college were a highly politicised event.

It is average. Placement-wise it s decent. If you are looking for campus then not worth it.

Placements: Chances of getting placed are good and the average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs. 25 to 30 companies visited the college every year. Companies like SAP, Ericsson, Sapient and Infosys visited our college every year. You can get a decent placement of 3 to 4 lakhs if you study technical and aptitude well(basics). The placement for the senior batch was good. and at least 65 percent of students were placed. The highest salary offered was 7 lakhs by Josh Technologies and the lowest was 2.2 lakhs by H...

Not happy with the infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are available mostly for CS and IT branches. However, ECE and EEE students can sit for placements but there is no electronics company that will visit. If you are thinking of taking ECE or EEE in this college, you may feel disappointed at the end of your college years. But if you are looking for IT or CSE branches, then you should be relaxed.

An average college with average standard of educational facilities and motivation to learn.

Placements: I was placed as a software engineer in Infosys in 7th semester. The package offered was Rs. 3.25 LPA. The placements were good. Companies like Infosys, Sapient, CSC, HCL Technologies etc were a part of the placement meets. Almost all students were placed on campus. The college supported placement training programs and placement supporting tests like AMCAT etc. The students were motivated to go for off-campus placements. The lowest salary offered on campus placements was Rs. 2.75 LPA and the hig...

The best for fun and good in placements for CSE/IT.

Placements: The placements for the CSE/IT batch are good but for the electronics /electrical batch, the placements are very less. The average package offered is 3.5 lakhs, the highest package is 6 lakhs and the lowest package is 2.2 lakhs by HCL. Overall, 80% of the CSE/IT students are placed and 40% are placed from the electronics students.

Faculty is fine. Placements are better than other average colleges of GGSIPU. It being a Sikh college, the college fests are focused on Punjabi culture yet it is fun for all. With Punjabis/Sikhs all around, the college environment is good and chilled out. Due to regular exams, everyone has to study on a regular basis but it ultimately helps you in your end semester exams.

It was a great experience when I joined this college. 1. Good crowd and creative ones land here. 2. Close to Rajouri garden metro station, so hassle free connectivity Market and malls are there to hang out at least. Lounges, restaurants, movies in close proximity is big win. 3. Infrastructure is ok but it is bit congested because it is developed on a small land. 4. Canteen was good at my time. 5. GTBIT college fest is a must attend. 6. You get all notes in in-house Xerox shop for few bucks. Cons...

The college is a wastage of money and time because there is no company coming for core placement and if any company comes for placement so it’s a kind of BPO like HCL etc. And the placement cell says it’s our fault to take admission in this college. I can’t trust this college. Overall, my after college experience is very bad due to no placement.

GTBIT is a small college with an average infrastructure and a 70% Sikh crowd. Attendance is not an issue over here, even 10% attendance is sufficient to give the external exams. So you can miss classes. Teachers are not that great. Students here are extremely friendly and try to enjoy their life to the maximum. There are many places to relax. Almost all big companies visit for campus placements.

This college has been the most interesting part of my life. I've learned a lot about real corporate world and industry, not through the curriculum though. The infrastructure is satisfactory with availability of basic amenities like free Wi-Fi, photocopy shop, a well managed library etc. Placements are average with companies like Infosys, Aricent, and HCL visiting on campus every year and students placed to SAP, Techblue etc. off campus during final year. Average salary package goes around 3.25-...

It is a very good college.

Placements: Placements depend on students' studies and skills. Many students got off-campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA - 7 LPA.

It is an average college with a small campus.

Placements: Off-campus placements are good. The highest off-campus salary package offered is approximately 45 LPA. On-campus placements are also impressive. The highest on-campus salary package offered in the CSE branch is 18 LPA, but the average salary package is not that impressive. Top recruiting companies are American Express, HSBC, Amazon, Paytm, and Wipro.

It's a good college except for the infrastructure.

Placements: I don't know what's the current status of the placements in our field and this is the first time this field is introduced in this college. So they don't particularly have a placement report but the overall placement is quite average for the rest of the branches.
