Placements: Our college has no active placement cell. Neither do the authorities plan for any such cell in future. Some job fair are organised sometimes, where few students get offers from some companies. However, mostly students here do not look for placements and opt for applying jobs on their own or going for higher studies elsewhere.
Placements: The college is good if you want a graduation degree. The selection was based on the results of the 12th-grade board. If you received more than 60%, you were eligible for honors courses. Our college had no placements. Internships were not provided by the college. You had to find jobs on your own.
Placements: There is no such placement facility in this college, but they organise a job fair event every year in which leading institutions take part. You can get information about any course that this institute offers, and students can also avail education loan facility.
Placements: Gurudas College doesn't provide placements for B.Com students. In other streams, the college provides internships, which help the students to get PPO. In journalism, Gurudas college is one of the best in the business. They provide good quality internships and help students to get PPO.
Placements: The college is not good for direct placement. It is just a degree college. Although some computer science students get a placement, but the number is not much. In other courses, there are no or very fewer chances. Most of the courses in the college are degree courses and not professional courses.
Placements: No placement was held during our batch but now I'm serving as a teacher in a private school. And I'm trying to approach SBI Bank PO. I don't know why we didn't get a chance for placement or why we were not offered for any job. I don't even know if companies actually came and offered a job in this college because I never heard of this from any of the professors or from any of the students.
Placements: They don't provide any placements, but they have been trying with some companies, which mostly offer BPO, customer service, and service analyst types of openings. Ten students were placed there, but I think it could be better. As English majors, they could at least provide roles in our area of specialization.
Placements: Our college does not provide many placements. Still, companies like TCS and ICICI Bank visit our college for recruitment. Quite a few students got selected. But all these were not pre-informed, so many students did not know about these interviews, and they missed it. About 40% of the students from our course got placed.
Placements: The college provided only a few placements for students having a pass in subjects like journalism. Only in the commerce section, IBM and Infosys visited the campus for recruitment. The highest salary package offered was 3.25 LPA. Internships were not many, but there were few local newspapers where you can get a temporary editor and reporter job.
