Good infrastructure and faculty members, but the placements are not good.

Placements: There are not many placement opportunities for the mechanical department, but some IT companies do visit, and they also offer very few placements. If you are one among the top 10 students, you may have a chance of getting placed. Students should find internships by themselves. There is a placement cell in the college. However, it doesn't make a big difference.

Infrastructure: The college has a 10-acre campus. All the departments are located in different places. Most of the labs are equipped with new machines and are updated from time to time. Since the campus is located away from the main road, the silence creates a good environment to study. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: The college has very good faculty members. The college provides facilities for the students to expose their projects in the tech fest. The college also focuses on the overall development of students by allowing them to conduct cultural and technical events. Organising these events help the students to learn things through experience, which cannot be learned from books.

Review of Gurudeva Institute of Science & Technology, Puthuppally.

Placements: GISAT Engineering College has many B.Tech courses like civil, mechanical, computer engineering etc. The percentage of students in this college is low. The degree courses are not available. Some recruiting companies are Wipro, Infopark etc. Computer science is the main course in this college.

Infrastructure: Plenty of classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi are available. A good library is available in this college. But the negatives of college are it lacks canteen and hostel facilities because of few students in this college. Medical facilities are available. A playground is available. Many computers are available.

Faculty: The teaching quality in this college is good. The 3rd semester and above are hard to learn. The national service scheme is available for students. The placements in the college have not been the most productive. It has been falling for the last 3 years. But still, those who get placed are being posted into well-known companies. The number of internships is less than expected. The tentative percentage of students that are being placed from the college is less than 50.

Other: The campus life is not as lively as it should be. The gender ratio is about 1:1. Diversity is a stronghold of the institution as it accommodates all races and all classes of students without any discrimination. Labs are very good in the institution. There are occasional debates, and the sports in the institution are not very well managed.
