The best commerce college in south Calcutta.

Placements: The companies like Indigo Airlines, TCS, Wipro, IDBI Bank recruits a large number of candidates every year. I would rate 9/10 for the placements. It provides the jobs to the deserved students every year, and it is on the fair basis. This year, Indigo took ten candidates, and the others took the same.

Pretty good in terms of faculty and placements, but lacks infrastructure and system.

Placements: The placements in Heramba Chandra College as compared to the present scenario of job markets in West Bengal are pretty decent for the commerce students but not that great. The placements are okay compared to the other colleges.

My college days were the best and I felt like living in heaven with lots of enjoyment.

Placements: Almost all the students who sit for the campus placement were selected. I remember that there was this TCS taking the campus placement just 3 months before the final exams. Many students also appeared for the exam. After successful completion of the course, they were appointed in the TCS.

The college is good for the commerce students, and the faculty members are good.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. Most of the companies come over there, but it's over you how you perform in the interview as well as in the college. Many companies come for the basic jobs for the commerce department. The companies visited the college for the call centres and BPO and gave a good package for the students.

Overall, the faculty, infrastructure, and placements of our college are satisfactory.

Placements: We have good placement records. The students having good percentage get placed in MNC as well as other firms. In our college, the student with a percentage of above 80 is selected for the admission, so it is obvious that they get placed. Thus, the placement system of our college is quite well.

You won't regret taking admission in this college, I can assure that.

Placements: This year, several companies like Wipro, TCS, Indigo airlines conducted on-campus recruitment in our college, and many students also were placed in a decent position. The range of salary they offered varied from 10k-25k. Mostly, the roles offered were for the post of bpo or in sales.

Well satisfied with this college. Good infrastructure and professors.

Placements: The placement is average in this college. Many multinational companies come here for recruiting the students. At first, it was not very good but now, it is okay for a graduate student for getting a job in campus drives. Though the seats for campus placements are less (not very high) in the selected designations.

A review on Heramba Chandra College.

Placements: I have personally not attended any campus placements from my college. But as far as I have heard, many of my friends got recruited in different MNCs. Many of my classmates got placed in TCS, and her package was approximately 1.2-1.5 lacs per annum. There were companies like TCS, IBM, ICICI Bank, and many others who visited our college for campus recruitment.

Good enough after the 90 percent cut-off colleges

Placements: I wasn't placed from the college. It does not provide placements for BSc economics hons., at least it did not till 2014. The placement for BCom is good enough with companies like Wipro and TCS coming. The packages are quite low amounting to around 2 to 2.5 lakhs per annum. The jobs are all BPO jobs.

Heramba Chandra College makes you a better human being

Placements: A very good college with excellent placements. TCS, IBM and Wipro also come to our college. Top placement college in Kolkata. I feel very proud as a student of this college. When anyone asks me in which college do I study, then I feel proud to say I am a student of City College. It is a very good advantage for you.

Heramba Chandra College review.

Placements: You'll get calls from some big heads like TCS and Wipro for sure as they've been coming to our campus for 5 years and more. For marketing major students, you'll get opportunities in the sales line companies like ICICI Bank. As a fresher, you can expect a package as per industry standards.

One of the best commerce colleges in south Kolkata.

Placements: So big corporate giants like TCS, Wipro, CTS and Genpact have bestowed their blessings on our campus years after years during my entire 3 years of graduation. Even I am one of the students who is currently employed with Wipro after leaving the college. Students have been offered a salary at par with the industry. Some of my friends have offered a package of up to 3 lakhs. On an average, to start as freshers, we have been offered 2 lakhs with the lowest being 1.5 lakhs. Various roles including se...

The journey of B.Com at Heramba Chandra.

Placements: The companies that came to our college were not that good. They were not up to the mark. The companies that came for internship were limited. All the students didn't get the opportunity to enrol themselves. In short, I could sum up that the placements were not up to the expectations of the students.

Good for time pass and fun.

Placements: I did not get campus placements. Currently, I am working in an advertising only company which came for campus placements. They were call centres. Companies like TCS, Wipro and Genpact are all offered only the roles of customer care representative. Only 10% student got placed with an average salary offered around 1.2 LPA. The highest salary offered was 12k per month.

Worth for money. Good faculty.

Placements: The placement of the college is good. Many companies come to the college for recruitment and give direct placement in BPO companies. Reputed companies like Wipro, private banks such as AXIS Bank, ICICI Bank come to the campus. Our college doesn’t provide us internship. Professors individually help the students by providing a referral. The average salary is 2.0 lakh to 3.5 lakh yearly.

College with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The faculty helps the students to get placements. Companies like Wipro, Axis Bank, ICICI Banks come to the campus for placements. They offered around 1.5 lakh to 2 lakh per annum. Offered salary is not satisfactory and the college doesn't offer internship facility.
