Dissatisfied with the worst infrastructure.

Placements: No placement here and no package is offered here. No campusing nothing just a disgusting place to complete your graduation and the worst thing is no one is concerned about the students. No one is ever thinking of the student's life career. They just need money.

It is an average government sponsored college.

Placements: Heramba Chandra College provides its students with placements, but it also depends upon the marks of the candidates. Not everyone gets placements right after B.Com so luck is a factor here. Overall we can say a package of around 1.2 LPA - 2.4 LPA is provided for a B.Com graduate.

I am not satisfied with events, fests, and infrastructure but good placements and teachers are good.

Placements: Banking companies like ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, and other companies like Wipro, TCS, Indigo, LIC, ICICI prudential ie. life insurance, and ABP. Maximum and minimum salary depends on year to year but generally, the highest salary pacakge offered is 2 LPA. The maximum salary pacakge offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The top roles are CEO, FO, bank manager, and many more depending on the caliber of the students. Around 60% of students get internships in 2021 but in our batch,...

Good faculty, regular classes but requires some improvements.

Placements: Doesn't offer campus placement as during our time we didn't get to see any companies coming to take students. The college can definitely tie-up with companies to offer jobs as there are many students who have the potential for taking up such jobs after graduation.

I feel very proud to be a part of Heramba Chandra College.

Placements: Only 10-15% of the students got placed. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs.15,000 per month. The average salary offered was about Rs. 18000 per month. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Airtel, Agwin. Top roles offered in our courses were various opportunities to attend seminars by various delegates from over the country. I don't have much idea about the internships offered to...

Satisfied with the college, but improvement is needed.

Placements: Reputed companies like TCS and Indigo visited our college for placements. Many students were placed in TCS, the exact number is not known. The average salary offered is also not known. About 47% of the students were placed who qualified the exam conducted by TCS.

This is a good enough college if you score around 85-90% in ISC.

Placements: The college does not provide any kind of on-campus placements for its students. The college doesn't even provide any internship opportunities to its B.Com students as it is not a part of curriculum under Calcutta University. However, there is a project that you need to complete in the third year of your graduation in good companies.

Poor faculty, good result comparatively, average canteen, other infrastructure poor.

Placements: 3-4 companies came in the entire year like TCS and Muthoot to recruiter mainly for BPO/BPS jobs. Again airline company came for recruiting air host/hostesses and other small jobs in airlines industry. Only thing they guaranteed about salary is that it will be in 5 digits. They selected good number of students from my college.

Heramba Chandra - university of Calcutta.

Placements: Campus recruitment doesn't happen at a great extent. The campusing is really bad at the college. Only a few students get jobs when they are permitted to sit for interviews that too from off-campus recruitments or pool recruitments. Students tend to get, those who appear for interviews, at companies like Wipro, Genpact, etc.

Heramba Chandra college at its best.

Placements: In your final year 5-6 companies will come for the jobs, but if you are finding for a package of 12 lacks or above annually, this isn't your place. You can have your work experience in these companies, but won't get much of a revenue there. And if you seek for 3 or above bluechip companies, you won't find any.

A college with good attention, care and support for the students.

Placements: Tata Consultancy, many other companies and also emerging companies are visiting the college to hire the new talents. The college has seen rapid growth in the placement areas in past few years as the result of Heramba Eramba Chandra college has been outstanding in these years and seemed to continue.

Pretty good in terms of faculty and placements, but lacks infrastructure and system.

Placements: The placements in Heramba Chandra College as compared to the present scenario of job markets in West Bengal are pretty decent for the commerce students but not that great. The placements are okay compared to the other colleges.

Good enough after the 90 percent cut-off colleges

Placements: I wasn't placed from the college. It does not provide placements for BSc economics hons., at least it did not till 2014. The placement for BCom is good enough with companies like Wipro and TCS coming. The packages are quite low amounting to around 2 to 2.5 lakhs per annum. The jobs are all BPO jobs.

The journey of B.Com at Heramba Chandra.

Placements: The companies that came to our college were not that good. They were not up to the mark. The companies that came for internship were limited. All the students didn't get the opportunity to enrol themselves. In short, I could sum up that the placements were not up to the expectations of the students.

Good for time pass and fun.

Placements: I did not get campus placements. Currently, I am working in an advertising only company which came for campus placements. They were call centres. Companies like TCS, Wipro and Genpact are all offered only the roles of customer care representative. Only 10% student got placed with an average salary offered around 1.2 LPA. The highest salary offered was 12k per month.

Good college for students interested in finance, Meagre chances for placements, Decent facilities

Placements: There was no scheduled placement process for the students, however, There were a few companies such as Wipro, TCS, which came in for placements but the number of students getting selected for the same was just a handful. The average salary being offered by those companies ranged from Rs 180000 pa to Rs 240000 pa.

If your looking for a college to get your graduation done.

Placements: Probably less than 10 percent. The highest package was probably close 2.5 lacs a year. Wipro, Deloitte, Genpact all registered an interest in our candidacy. No internships at all. Customer service executives, Back office jobs, Sales representatives roles are offered.

The environment of the college is not good, but the education provided by it is average.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 96,000 per annum. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro and Insurance companies visit our campus for placements. About 25% of the students from our course got an internship at the college. Roles like BDM, BPS, sales, accountant, etc., are offered to the students. The placement doesn't just depend upon the grades, but it depends on other factors. Ample opportunities are given to the students.

South city day- A college with heritage.

Placements: Placements are not available for this course. There was no facility of placement from the college. After graduation students had to apply to the company on their own. So placement and internship should be added to this course. And that would make it more interesting and helpful.

I am not that satisfied with the UG.

Placements: The scope of getting a decent job through campus placement is difficult. Companies like TCS, indigo, etc. came and there are other known and unknown companies too which come every year. Exact percentage of students who got internship is may be 4 out of 10.
