Affordable education with decent placements but needs modernization in curriculum & infrastructure.

Placements: The Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET) in Shahpur has a moderate placement record. Around 70-75% of students from courses like B.Tech secure placements, particularly in branches such as Computer Science and Electronics. # Salary Packages: - *The highest package*: Approximately 10 LPA, often offered in technical or software-related roles. - *Average Package*: Around 3-4 LPA, varying by branch and individual performance. - *The lowest package*: Generally 2-2.5 LPA, offered in ...

Placements: Placements are provided in local companies of Himachal Pradesh and also in the other states like Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. You must have good talent and knowledge to get placed from college.

Don't spoil your future by joining this college.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. The college has no tie-ups with industries. Only 1 or 2 sales companies are invited to the campus to offer placements. I haven't seen any company visiting the college as they said during my admission. We also have a 4-month internship in the final semester, but there are no arrangements from the management side. We have to apply for an internship on our own without any help from college, and we have to pay for this.

Average college. It needs to improve in terms of infrastructure, placements and other facilities.

Placements: In our batch, there were very few placements, they were around 10 placement opportunities for about 250 students. There were no campus interviews. For our batch, the industry exposure was zero. Ours was the second batch passing out of the college. However, there was a technical entry interview organised twice for Indian Army.

It is a good college because of its low fee structure.

Placements: I got placed in Wipro. Not many students got placed from our senior batch and our batch too. HIET college is very good and has very good faculty. Most of the students get placed in good companies, and the salary scale is very high.

Himachal institute of technology (HIET).

Placements: The placements offered in the college are not good and not bad. The highest package of salary offered around 13 lacs per annum, and you get an average package of 5 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was offered around 1.5 lacs per annum. There are different companies visited the campus like Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, etc.

Our college is good but if you are searching for a best college then don't come here.

Placements: There are no placements for civil engineering students. You have to make efforts by yourself in the study and after that go to the companies for placement. This college is not good for a civil engineering study. So, if you want admission, then do the study by yourself.

I'm dissatisfied due to mechanical and civil placements but has good teachers and infrastructure.

Placements: It is a very good college for engineering. Placements here are a little bit good, but for the mechanical and civil branch, they are not good. However, for other streams like computer science, electrical engineering, electronic and communication engineering, placements are very good.

College for students of Kangra with Working Mind, learning zeal.

Placements: Local Construction Company absorbs the Freshers. Few opt for PG courses. After industrial Visiting placement offers are initiated on-campus only, Various State and MNC HR makes a visit and interact with students of final year B.Tech of all treads. And thus placement is provided.

I am all absolutely dissatisfied by the faculty members, mess food, Library issues and placements.

Placements: The placements in our college is totally nil. The students of earlier batches haven't got degree but are in the faculty team now. They are not placed in company with high packages. The highest packages offered so far is about 120000 only. The earlier batches of this college haven't yet been placed so far.
